I thought I was doing something by using this.
This was my first eye primer. I love the applicator! Now that I have tried others I have found that this is not the best. I show some creases in my makeup that other brands do not make noticeable. I like it
I like this primer a lot. I am an African American woman and my eyeshadows normally don't show up that well (I buy a lot of drugstore brands, full-time grad student). It keeps my shadow on all day and it doesn't fade. The color shows up a lot better. At the end of the day (6 or 7 pm) it does crease a little. Definitely has staying power
So I always hear how we should put eyeshadow primer on our lids before we apply our eyeshadows. Well, I decided to finally take that advice and buy myself an eyeshadow primer. I tested my friend's MAC one and it just looked cake-y and didn't do what I thought it would. Then I was introduced to this potion-mabob and thought to myself, the sales lady better be right. SURE ENOUGH, she was correct...read more!! My eyeshadows now stay on and actually stay put, my eye liner stays (it used to smear right off after 5 mins) and i can definitely see the color pop out compared to before. I have oily eyelids, and this makes my eyeshadow stay on and while it might fade a bit, it does so naturally, without creasing. Can't live without it!
This is literally the only stuff I've tried that will keep my shadow from becoming a greasy streak across my eyelid during the day. I can't really speak for the color-intensifying aspect of it as I always set it with powder (I find blending more difficult than I like otherwise), but as a primer, it's a godsend. The only issue I have is that it runs out fairly quickly and you have to pop out the li...read morettle plastic stabilizer to get to the rest of the product. It seems like there's more product stuck behind the stabilizer than there is in the area where the wand can reach! But...that's a packaging issue, not a product issue. A MAKEUP MUST!
i looooooove this stuff!! when i first heard of it i didn't believe it but, but once i tried it at sephora i was sold! i have oily eyelids and it lasts for 12 hours! It would probably last for longer if i didn't take it off. Its worth every cent that i paid for. The packaging is just ok. but heres a tip when you think you are out cut the tube near the bottom and transfer it into a new jar and you will be suprised how much there is still. the only thing that works
I love love love this stuff... It is THE ONLY thing that actually keeps my eye makeup from totally disappearing off of my eyes within 20 minutes. The only thing I don't like is the price. Since it works, I keep buying it, but I wish it wasn't so expensive. I also don't like the tube it comes in. If you open up the tube when you think it's gone, there is still a ton left inside. My number one eyeshadow primer! Since it comes with a brush you don't need to use your fingers which are oily and have germs. It goes on very smoothly and makes my eyeshadow colors last ALL day (perfectly with no smudge) . Not a Keeper
I am always on the search to find eyeshadow bases that would help my shadows last longer. I am not a fan of moving eye make-up. Sadly, this product was not worth the trip to Sephora. I have combination skin, so that aslo means oily in areas such as my eyelids. This base moved after four hours. I ran back to Sephora to return. Thank God they have an excellent return policy.
