    Not the best out there

This is good stuff, however it's really not the best out there, especially for oily skin (yes eyelids get a little oily too). I've found that Paula Dorf's eye primer works better and can be worn by itself. I prefer Mac paints over this as well. This product is probably third on my list of eye primers.

    A-MAZ-ING

This product is a do-all. It gives you a great base for your eyeshadow or eyeliner, it smooths your skin to give it a more even look, it can go under concealer to make sure your concealer doesn't move throughout the day, and it totally will never let your eyeshadow crease. I love this stuff and never do my makeup without it!

Beautiful eyes with this secret treasure

Believe it or not, I had never really heard of make up primer for the eyes oe face until my 29+ year birthday. I was starting to have difficulties with cleanly applying my make up as my make up wasn't gliding across my eyelids and face as it once used to.My eyelids were appearing creased and my face looked like it had more lines than a roadmap. Finally, I sought the advice of an expert at the pres...read morecriptives counter and asked them if they had any advice for reolving my problem, something that would improve the look and feel of my skin. After moisturizing, they applied their primer, called flawless face primer, which was very thin and spread easily over the skin. After letting it sit for a minute of two, they applied my foundation and what a difference that one product had made. Any line on my face seemed to disappear instantaneously and the slight sagging around the lower part of my face even seemed to improve. After my foundation, blush and setting powder, which usually accentuated any lines I have on my face, had been applied, I looked like I had back in my early twenties and my skin was flawless. Even strangers stopped by the make up counter for a few moments as this make up artist transformed me from drab to fab. As for my eyes, I later learned of another product classified as another miracle worker for attaining youthful eyes called urban decay eye primer which looked, on first appearance as a big nothing. I'm not used to applying products to my eyes that simply seem to disappear into the skin. I applied the urban decay, let it sit until dry and then applied my make up. My eyeshadow easily smoothed over my lids without a hitch, no more creasing of the lids and my eyes looked fabulous. I was able to blend the eyeshadows very easily, without any irritation or puffiness. The eye colors seemed more vibrant and didn't seem to disappear throughout the day. My eye make up stayed intact until I decided to remove it when I was ready to go to bed. The difference between the look of my eyes when I was wearing the primer as compared to when I wasn't was incomprehensible. I will never go a day without wearing my urban decay and the best part is it is so inexpensive and affordable for anyone. I felt young and wonderful again. I felt confidence and that air of confidence has led to no shortange of dates and male pursuers since I learned from the pros how correct all the mistakes I was making in make up application and covering my flaws and imperfections

    : )

I read tons of great reviews on this stuff and decided to try it. Initially, it's very expensive, but after using it I realized it's totally worth it. My eyeshadow stays on all day, and even better - my eyeliner.I put it all around my eyes and a little on my waterline because it's keeps the tight lining there. I only give it 9 stars because for some weird reason it seems to work better on one eye than the other. Bottom line, this stuff is amazing.

    Love It!

I have the shimmer primer potion and I absolutely love it! It gives my eyeshows a slightly bronzed undertone and looks great with any color. It works great with any type of eyeshadow, and even makes the drug store brands stay on.

    Just Below Mediocre

Golly gee I wish I was as happy as everyone else who has tried this product seems to be. To be perfectly fair, this does what it promises to some extent: it neutralizes the dark, purplish tint I have on my lids and helps shadow last a bit longer. But is it life-changing? Hardly. I was happy with Ulta's eye shadow base but I decided to finally break down and try this after hearing about it after al...read morel these years. Mistake! Ulta's base is only a few bucks, comes as a cream in a small compact, and works much better. Seriously, don't use the Ulta base unless you're ready and willing to commit to that eyeshadow, because once you apply it, it's not going anywhere. I found Urban Decay to be a very thin, watery formula, applied rather unevenly (that cheap wand applicator doesn't help), only makes my shadow last a bit longer, and yes, it still creased. I'm someone who would happily live on ramen noodles for pricey-but-worthy beauty products; it's such a shame that Urban Decay has made me feel so ripped off. Trust me: get the Ulta Eyeshadow Base instead and splurge on Kraft Mac N Cheese.

    Good Primer but pricey

I got a sample of this primer and used it for several days. I liked the product okay and felt it did a good job as primer. After pricing it I decided I prefer some of the more natural lines like Korres, Tarte, and Thomas Peter Roth for the money.

it works well, but kinda overrated.

i can't see the full hype about this primer. it works awful with any cream eyeshadow, and makes them crackly, so it works best with any pressed or loose eyeshadow. i won't deny that it works well, but i don't think it was worth my $18.00. i don't plan on buying this again.

    So-So Feelings About It

Pros: This product did what it said it would do - prevent eye shadow from getting into the creases. It would definitely help people who have oily lids. I like that I can apply it with a wand rather than my fingers. The wand helps control how much comes out (since usually if it is in a tube, I would end up getting more than I wanted). Cons: This product is fast drying - which can be good and b...read moread. The bad part is that if you don't blend it before it dries - you may have light white blotches on your eyelid. You need to blend it as soon as you put it on your eyelid. If you don't blend it right away and you see the dried cream, you will be hard pressed to get the cream off unless you use makeup remover. Bottom Line - It is good at what it does - but you could find a better one for the same price or even lower. I still like Mary Kay's eye primer the best.
