Urban Decay Primer Potion
Love this stuff, especially now that they changed the packaging! I have oily lids and a primer is a must for me. I love that they not only have the original, but Sin & Eden, they really change the shadows to a different level! I've used many eye primers but this one is the best in my opinion and its about the average price for a primer. The best primer I've ever used
This is the best EYE primer I have ever used! The old packaging wasn't a hit for me, but the product is amazing. I use it EVERY DAY. I sometimes have to be up at 5am and when I use this, it keeps my eyeshadow perfect until 9 o'clock at night. New packaging finally!
On the whole, this product is definitely a great purchase, I own one with a bit of shimmer in it, so even minimal eyeshadow afterwards is okay and I'm ready to go! My only problems are with how the old packaging was (so with the new design I'm intrigued to see how it goes). I accidentally dropped the tube once and the top broke off making it impossible to close, and the design of the tube, while ...read moreappealing, looses a lot of product. But since these issues have been addressed and remedied by the new packaging, I'm all for recommending this to people who are looking for a great primer. Amazing!!!
My skin is soooooo oily, normally my shadow would begin creasing within an hour or so after applying. I have (accidentally) slept in my makeup and woke up with my eyes looking as perfect as they did the night before with this product. I really like SIN!
I normally don't wear any eyeshadow at all, only liner with mascara. The reason being that my lids get oily and I hated how shadows would gather in my lid creases and make a thick ugly line. Then I would wipe it away gently and lose most of the shadow on my eye. That was just a pain in the neck and made it not worth the trouble of messing with eyeshadows. When UD came out with the tinted/color...read moreed shadow primers, I hesitated. I liked the Original in the tube only -- I didn't bother with it when it was in the genie bottle because I hate wand applicators. Original matched my lid skin color almost perfectly, but I was too lazy or rushed most of the time to mess with putting on any shadow over it. The color of Sin appealed to me, described by some as a "pink champagne". For someone like me that doesn't wear shadow at all, Sin was a big step. I don't like how foily and blingy it initially applies for me. But the sparkle/shimmer seems to fad a bit after it settles on my skin (I think this is a good thing). I apply it using a finger, and that is not ideal for accuracy/placement, but it's quick and easy for me. The best part is that I get NO CREASING but I get that little bit of subtle color on my lids that I was hoping for. Best stuff in the World
I love this product. I ordered the deluxe sample pack thing from Sephora that came with all four potions the first time I ordered it. Personally my favorite potion is the Eden potion which is like a skin tone color that makes your eyeshadow really pop. Greed is a color that I use by itself it is like a gold yellow color. The other two potions I dont really care for which is orginal, and sin. very nice!
