AMAZING
This product has seriously been lifesaving. Before I finally discovered this amazing product my eye shadows would only last a few hours and would start to crease within an hour. I have original, sin, and eden and can’t wait to try greed. I think original is the best overall and lasts the longest but my favorite color is sin; seriously, its gorgeous on its own. Sometimes I feel bad putting color over it because it looks so good. On its own I don’t like the color eden, it is too yellow for me and does not do me justice but it is good for a matte finish because sometimes sin in addition to a shimmer eye shadow can be a bit too much. I still have to old packaging which looks a little like a genie bottle and has a wand. I have not yet tried the new packaging but I have heard is better and easier to control quantity. My suggestion would be to not use too much of this product because a little goes a long way. This product seriously works and has really helped me feel more secure when I go out because I don’t have to be worrying about my eye shadow creasing all night, and girls you who have oily eye lids understand how I feel. This product even makes my eye shadows last through hot sweaty outside days and afternoon naps. UPDATE: I got the new tube in professional size and it is super easy to manage the amount of product used. Also, I really just want to reiterate how amazing this product is. This is the only eye primer and eye shadow I use
I live in the South where it reaches over 100 degrees and over 95% humidity in the summer, so I used to never wear eye shadow because it would either crease or melt off within 2 hours. But this is the only tinted primer that holds up (well enough) in this weather. Granted, it does crease towards the end of the day. But heck, it does well enough considering the circumstances! Absolutely a must have.
Urban Decay Primer Potion is famous for a reason! My sister had the worst problem with creasing eyeshadow. She tried tons of primers, but to no avail - everyday by noon her eyeshadow was dunzo. I love this product!
For a very long time I had herd about how great this product was. I really wanted to try it but I took a great deal of time to wait for it. I will be honest, I think that $20 is a lot for any makeup product, let alone a primer. So I pretty much decided that maybe one day when I have better funding I will buy it. Well not too long ago I happened to be on Urban Decay's website. I was looking in thei...read morer sales section and low and behold there was the potion primer on sale for $7! I was very excited! I bout the regular size in greed and I got an extra large in eden, which was about $12). Then later on Sephora had a deal where if you spent $25 you could get the original one full sized for free! I happily found some products just to have it! Needless to say I am very happy with all three. I love how the orginal and eden or more skin color and the gold in greed is wonderful as well. (I do want to be clear these bottles are the old packaging style) I think that they come out very easily and they totally are fantastic. I love using them because true to what everybody elese says they do keep your shadows in place! I find that they even work great on my drugstore makeup products. I am very happy to have them! But I do want to make it clear once they are gone I may not buy them again for two reasons One I like to try new products and (this is why I give it a 9...) I think that at full price they are just too expensive. Maybe I am just cheep but I think for me, a poor college student, I just dont have that kind of money to spend on cosmetics. In love!
This is the best primer that I have found, and I have tried a handful from Sephora, Ulta, and MAC. The primer goes on smoothly and blends in with your skin so that you do not see the actual product onto your eye. Once your eye makeup is on (which is right after or even an hour after you first put it on) the makeup stays for 8+ hours, even in warm, sunny weather. The best!!!!!
My first eye primer I bought was smash box eye primer... it wasn't bad but tut reacted weird with my brow pencil so I wanted to find something better! I heard so much about this product before I even tried it. I even bought 2! The regular and golden tint for a more glam look! It makes eye shadow look amazing and illuminated!
