    Better than the older version

I used to use the older version of this product that didn't rotate. It would tangle in my hair, make it frizzy, and get too hot. This product was definitely an improvement, but still had some flaws. The rotating element was cool, but took some practice. DO NOT use the rotation on wet hair. Once your hair is damp, the product is pretty great at giving you a smooth blown-out look.

    Not meant for short hair

This comes with different sized brushes but they are both way too wide to curl short hair. Also, the brush is a bit difficult to attach.

    Straight but narrow

Remington's version of the InStyler, which I've used in the past to straighten my curly hair. This seemed like a "light" version of that product. It took a few tries before I got the hang of using the brush on my damp hair. The barrel of the brush wasn't very long, so I could only work in small sections at a time. It did get the job done, though, and my hair stayed straight and frizz-free for two ...read moredays. I'll definitely use this for the occasional "straight" days. If I were planning to straighten more often, I'd probably invest in the InStyler, which was faster overall.

Not For Long or Wet Hair

I've used other brush/dryer combinations before, but never one that does the spinning for you. I was hoping this would be the solution to cutting down the drying and styling time on my almost waist length hair. The tool comes with two brushes in different sizes and a wand. There were no directions so with a little bit of a cockedeyed expression, I finally figured out how to attach the brush to ...read morethe wand. There is no locking mechanism so the brush does pop out quite easily during use. In order to get the brush to spin, you have to twist and hold the spin dial in place, while using it on very small sections of hair. Again, there is no locking mechanism for this either, so you do have to hold it at a very awkward position in order to keep the brushes spinning. Since you can only do small sections of hair at a time, as the brush will click and cease spinning if you try larger portions or on wet hair, it does take a while to get through your whole head and can cause cramping in the hand holding the dial. This also did not want to work at all on my hair while it was wet. The brush would make a clicking noise before popping out of the wand. I think perhaps this is a design flaw on two folds – one, the device needs a locking mechanism and two, the device needs a stronger spinny motor. I did try it again on my hair the next day when it was dried already and it did take some of the frizz out, but it still would only do tiny sections at a time before locking up and clicking. Too much effort, unfortunately, but I can perhaps recommend it for short hair. TL/DR: Won't work on wet, long hair. Might work on shorter hair purely for styling.
