Good Budget Sunscreen

This is not one of the best sunscreens for the face that I have tried, but it does have its moments! For me, it is a sunscreen for the face that doesn't cause irritation or a burning sensation. Always a plus, right?? Also, it is under $20; at about $10 a bottle, you can buy 2 for the same price as so many other "drugstore" brands that supply moisturizing sunscreens. It also doesn't leave a white c...read moreast; however, on the flips side, it doesn't have the most "elegant" texture. I find myself having to almost create "effort" to get it to absorb - I wouldn't consider this a "light" or "airy" sunscreen. To further add to this, I actually would consider this a heavier sunscreen. My skin is oily/combo in the summer and combo/dry in the fall/winter. I can't use this sunscreen in the spring or summer months as it is just too heavy, so I really wouldn't recommend this to those with oily skin. (Sidenote: my mom has normal skin and she also found it heavy.) It also doesn't have any antioxidants, so those looking for just a basic sunscreen for normal to a bit dryer skin, this could be your match! (Sidenote: packaging has since changed!)

Works well

Cerave has great moisturizers. This lotion is heavy which is great for my dry skin. Has spf and is very hydrating.

Cerave Moisturizing Day Lotion

I've been using this face lotion for a few months now since its winter and its been a good basic lotion with SPF to have. It's certainly not my favorite though since its not as fast absorbing. The lotion is more on the heavier side so if you have sensitive skin or oily skin it might be too much for you. It is dermatologist recommended and wont clog pores. During summer times, i cant use this since my skin gets more oily. The price is average for drugstore costs. I have not used it in conjunction with the PM cream.

Doesn't burn my face

Usually daily moisturizer's with SPF in them burn my face. This is great for sensitive skin. And although I am not as in love with it as the PM version I will continue to use it for a while. These products were recommended by my dermatologist.

Love CeraVe moisturizing cream

Tried a lot of moisturizers. Never worked for me. My dermatologist recommended to use it for my dry skin. I'm using 16 0z cream with ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Works wonders on my skin. Finally a great product that keeps me hydrated. Love it.. Not too greasy too...

Good product for the price

I started using this at the recommendation of my dermatologist. She gave me a couple of sample tubes and I was hooked. I generally find that the higher SPF moisturizers break my skin out. (Not really sure what the science behind that is, but they tend to cause me issues). I find this product does a great job of moisturizing my skin, even in harsh conditions. It can be a little greasy under makeup if you are not careful and us a little too much. I find that a little goes a long way with this product so a bottle will last you quite some time. All in all a great product for sensitive skin, between the SPF and the hyaluronic acid, it gives you quite some bank for the drugstore price.

Broke out in hives

So I have sensitive skin and wanted to try a new moisturizer. Thought CeraVe would be good for sensitive skin, but my face broke out in rashes and it was really itchy for two days. :( Just a word of precaution to those who have sensitive skin.

Great product!

I really enjoy this moisturizer. It goes on smoothly after washing my face in the morning & I absolutely love that it has SPF 30. This moisturizer does not have an offensive smell or texture, which is great if you have sensitive skin. However, I will say that if you were just wearing it alone without any BB cream or makeup over it, it may leave your skin looking shiny, especially if you have reall...read morey oily skin. It works well with my combination skin, but I have had friends who say it just made their skin a little too greasy. Just a heads up! Maybe Cerave should come out with a moisturizer with SPF for combo/oily skin types.

If you have sensitive skin, YES.

I use this product every day, BUT I blend it with my Laura Mercier tinted moisterizer (oil free). I have acne prone skin, and was on accutane for 6 months. I used this product the whole time I was on it and it was perfect. Again, I mix it almost every time. I love the moisterizer and will probably stick with it for the foreseeable future. Great product.
