Not for every day use

I got this because I like zinc oxide sunscreens and this has a high percentage of it. It's thick and heavy and leaves a white tint. I will reserve this for outdoor activities but not every day.

Functional, but has its issues

I bought this after an independent agency determined that it was the second most effective sunscreen on the market. This sunscreen stayed put in the water, acting almost like a slicked-on shield, and my sensitive skin loved the natural ingredients, even though they emit a too-strong smell. The texture is so awful that I ultimately stopped using it. It's so thick that it's difficult to rub in and i...read moret never absorbs, causing every little dust particle to stick to your skin. And it was so greasy I felt like a greased pig roasting in the sun. Yuck.

Good for an all-natural

I have changed my review for this as Badger has reformulated this cream with a simple sunflower seed oil and beeswax base that blends easy and feels good. They now have a tinted version that eliminates the whitening effect, and is their best formula yet! If you haven't tried Badger sunscreens in a few years, get some of the new formulas and the changes they have made, for the better, are obvious!

the best

this is the best sunblock ever! its all natural, so nothing scary that can cause physical problems. it takes a very small amount. it lasts a very long time. there is a faint whitening, but if you can see that, yo are still protected.

one of the best, but ...

This is really expensive, but I think it's worth it. I love how natural it is; plus, it protects my sensitive skin from the sun. Most sunscreens irritate my skin (I get these little bumps or I break out) but this is really gentle. The only thing I don't like is that it's kind of hard to rub in, and the smell is kind of weird at first (but then it sinks into your skin ad you don't notice anymore).

Sunscreen made right

I have tried a few natural sunscreens and this is the best. It is a bit pricey for such a small bottle but it's worth it as many sunscreens that claim to protect are actually more harmful to the skin than the sun itself. Many zinc oxide based sunscreens are incredibly thick and hard to rub on, but not Badger. It is easy to apply, just make sure to reapply after swimming and sweating (I got slightly burned once because I didn't reapply.)

the best out there

bager makes the best sunblock without any added harmful chemicals i have found. plus it works great. i would recomend this to everyone especially if you have children.
