Some bang for the buck

First of all, this brush is HUGE. It took me a few days to master the art of NOT getting mascara everywhere, but after I did my lashes were full and lengthened. It definitely offers alot of volume, but can become clumpy after a few coats. It dries quickly and stays put. It's not my favorite, but it's not horrible either, especially for the small price you pay...I like this a whole lot better than Benefit Badgal and it's less than half the price!

I always go back to this one!

I have tried many many different mascaras and none of them do a little of everything like this one does. The little bristles on the rubbery brush really do define every single lash. The darkest color is VERY black. The formula is perfect. Not too wet. Not too dry. Just right. It flakes very minimally close to the end of it's life. Even the non-waterproof version never smears on me(and I live in GA...read more). The brush is surprisingly easy to use on the bottom lashes as the short bristles grab the lashes and coat them very easily. This makes me eyes look wide awake and like I have twice as many lashes. Best defining mascara ever. And, it never clumps on me no matter how many coats I put on so long as I do not let it dry in between. The price is a little high in my opinion which is why I removed one star. Other than that this is a favorite. I have repurchased it many times and will always go back to it.

Best 8 bucks you can spend on mascara...

I love this mascara, I really really do. Maybelline seems to be the reigning queen in drugstore mascara, but I don't really see the pull (except for the Full n' Soft; I like that). I never would've thought that Covergirl would produce a product, let alone a mascara, that would become my go-to. But this is it. Great mascara!

This is a great inexpensive mascara which is able to help you achieve great volume. The first coat or two may not seem like much, but the more coats you put on, the more malleable your lash shape becomes and you can fan them out or just layer on volume, or both. This is a great "anything" mascara, one or two coats for work, and the ability to pump it up even more after work, what else could you need?

Classic

I've tried many mascaras over the years, but as far as drugstore mascaras go, this one is still the best. Great volume, doesn't flake and comes off easily at the end of the night. Can't even count how many tubes I've bought.

Love it

The only reason you would know this is cheap mascara is the rate it dries out at. I find myself just thinking I got it to the right consistency and it seems like the next day I'm buying a new tube. Other than that I love what this mascara does for my lashes and it colors and layers so wonderfully!

It's okay

I don't like this mascara.. it doesn't do anything to enhance my eyelashes. I do like the way the mascara is designed though. The color of the tube and the shape is unique. I don't like the formula though. It's nothing special to me.

good product!

I have used this product for many years (probably since it first came out) and whenever I deviate from it, I always come back as it is the best! My daughter, sister and niece also use it - and sometimes it happens to show up in a gift package - when I give it or receive it! I hope Covergirl never changes it or takes it off the market.
