Where have you been all my life....
I have severely sensitive skin. The minute anything irritates my skin it shows. Not only does it show in redness and blotchiness, but it FEELS irritated and itchy beyond belief. For this reason, I'm such a minimalist when it comes to what I can put on my face. My face has NEVER liked makeup...the minute I put it on, my skin goes into fight-mode and wants to be free. Didnt like
I really didnt like bare minerals, my skin is on the oily side and this just tends to make me look blotchy. Even w/a primer underneath. I also didnt get enough coverage w/this, I will stick to my liquid foundation.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Best Ever

good for photos
This product is great if your not worried about wrinkles or all day wear. It looks flawless for the first maybe hour on me then after that just kinda faded away. why is of that this company hasn't been *out'ed* yet?!?
It's sad to say (considering how much I actually do *adore* these products!) but, for about the past three months I have been engaged in *extensive* research of safe cosmeticeutical products/brands and unfortunately, you wont find bare minerals on ANY "healthy" list. I started my research into the scary underworld of "what the FDA doesn't want you to know" by browsing sites suc...read moreh as skin deep (cosmetics database) and compact for safer cosmetics, but soon found myself exposed to a whole new world of science, certifications, and institutions actively involved in trying to reform America's lacking ingredient restrictions to meet the standards set forth by other countries. The truth is that US policy is so lax that it is deemed "a joke" by other counties who actually require scientific testing for safety in their products prior to then being made available to public(this includes Germany, UK, Switzerland, Spain, Finland,Japan, Korea, and the list goes on). ...needless to say, I know search and review my products for certifications established in other countries. Examples:BDIH (umbrella certification institution in Germany known for having the most strict of requirements throughout Europe and beyond) the UK's Soil Association, and Eco-Cert. I hate to write this (but a chance to win a free shopping spree at sephora? Ok I'm in! ;) ha!), because it sounds like i'm just being a *Debbie-Downer* but I really feel as though we all need to better educate ourselves on what ingredients we are willing to put on our face (and thus in our bloodstream!)This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Awesome!
I love this stuff, it's perfect. It evens out my tone, makes my extremely pale skin not so boring and doesn't hide my freckles! It lasts a long time a good eight hours at least and doesn't really rub off once it's settled. not so much
Ok... I DO love the mineral veil and the warmth, but the foundation just doesn't do it for me. I prefer Neutrogena's version (pressed mineral foundation) or the minerals from True. It's a novel concept, but for some reason it just doesn't work on me.
