I Love It!
After using liquid foundations that melted off my face during our hot So Cal summers, I decided to try this about 3 years ago. I will NEVER go back to a liquid! I love this foundation. It covers my flaws, helps to minimize my pores, and doesn't melt off my face! I use not only the foundation, but the mineral veil, blushes, eye shadows...you get the picture! Waste of money
I bought this after reading a ton of great reviews about it, but after I tried it for a few days, I realized it was a total waste of my money. The foundation plus the mineral veil was so much it made my face look cakey and it irritated my skin and made my face break out. Not good!!!
I have tried many times to like bare minerals, but I do not like the foundation. A foundation should hide the bad and make the face look good. The only positive I can say is even color. I find that every pore,scar,or uneven texture of any kind is accentuated. This is the only foundation my girlfriend uses and her face is always beautiful. Maybe we look at ourselves too harshly. Love it!!!!
I had used liquid foundations when i got i my 30s and then stopped using anything at all. In my 40s though i tried liquids again and to my horror i looked so aged. I tried Bare Minerals foundation just to see if it would fare any better and to my surprise Bare Minerals foundation did not settle in my fine lines nor did it feel icky or heavy. Okay, but not my favorite
I have tried Bare Esentuals for a week now. I prefer a lighter coverage as I have good skin, and I like the more natural, glowing look. Bare Escentuals has a more full coverage than I prefer. I notice that it also looks dry and cakey on my skin in some spots, and yesterday, which was a warmer day, I saw a separation that looked like a mix of powder and no makeup on my nose. Gross.
