Not a fan! It will create mess in the bathroom.

bare minerals original foundation
As a makeup artist I can tell you this product exaggerates fine lines, pores, it feels and looks dry and cakey, on oily skin it will oxidize and shift, on dry skin it will make your skin look even dryer and can be irritating on sensitive skin.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I used to love this stuff, but I don't know what happened. I am not sure if the product has changed or if my skin has changed. It used to be awesome at covering all my flaws and making my skin look perfect. I decided to give this foundation and the whole kit a whirl when I heard nothing but good things. This may work on certain skin types but definitely not mine. It went on smooth at first but after about an hour, my skin would produce oil and the foundation would turn glossy and seep into my pores making them more pronounced. has too much hype
this foundation is okay, i found if i mix in some primer to make it as a liquid consistency it gives a much better finish to the skin. i use the BM primer that makes you glow and i like the finish. i did notice it lasted longer mixed. over all i would not purchase again. ill stick to my cream or liquid foundation.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

First foundation I tried and still loyal
I was very hesitant to start wearing foundations specially powdered ones and I went to a department store and bounced around the counters trying different products. It matches my skin tone perfectly and when used the way BM recommends ( tap and swirl method) it has great coverage which is buildable. I will say that as stated by previous reviewers it does settle into creased. This issue was very qu...read moreickly and easily resolved with primer not just BM primer but most every primer I tried ( see Almay review for the reason I say MOST). I love this foundation. It can be full coverage or as sheer as you need it to be. It never looks like you have makeup on but rather that you just have good skin. Best for normal skin
I have a love/hate relationship with this foundation. I used to use it all the time when I was younger. It was the first foundation I ever used. But as I've gotten older my skin has changed a bit and now it just doesn't sit well with me at all. I take prescription acne medication and that causes my skin to go through periods of horrible dryness. My natural skin is very oily and it's exacerbated here in the Florida humidity. I can't go 3 hours wearing this stuff without turning into a grease ball. Great foundation!
This product covers blemishes and gives me a very nice natural glow. my only complaints are that if you accidentally use too much it looks cakey, and that it is, unfortunately, pretty pricey:/ other than that, I'd recommend this awesome foundation to anybody! :)This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful
