Love this foundation

Only foundation I can use!
I love this product. It is so light and the coverage is outstanding. I had a terrible sunburn and I blistered years ago and it permanately damaged my skin. Now if I get too hot or if there is something clogging up my pores I tend to get a feverblister. I have tried to wear liquid foundation but every time I end up with the start of that dreaded fever blister. Since I have been using bare esce...read morentuals I don't have that problem anymore. I love how it covers any blemishes and it really makes my skin glow. I would recommend this product for anyone that has troubled skin and has trouble wearing the liquid. Well, I guess I'm in the minority here
but I really love this product. My skin is oily and I have hundreds of dollars of every foundation you can imagine, all made for oily skin, and not a single one works as well as Bare Escentuals. I love that it has SPF in it and also love the I can put it on as light or as heavy as I like. It's the ONLY foundation type product that keeps me from breaking out. I use the adhesive of a band-aid to recover the holes after I open it. I also occasionally mix two colors to get my perfect match! Too shiny, not enough color choices and overall bleh
I really wanted to love BE. It was the first mineral foundation I'd ever heard of, and the first I'd ever tried. Even with the new editions to the color family there is still not enough. The fairly light and light, although a decent match in depth of color are totally wrong for my undertones. (Although, in BE's defense I can pretty much never find a matching foundation from any "big" ...read morebrand). If you really want to try minerals, go for a small etailer mineral makeup brand that doesn't contain the bismuth, the stuff that makes you have to buff it in. LOVE THIS STUFF
I have tried other mineral foundations but was not impressed. I used to have problems with shine by lunchtime, not with Bare Minerals. I have not had a problem with it wearing off, in fact I have applied my makeup at 7AM, went to work all day, went out for the evening and basically only touched up my eye makeup! improves skin
Well I have to say, it definitely has improved my skin after swithching from liquid foundation. I used to have horrible cystic acne and switching to bare minerals definietley helped my skin improve but I have to say that it will not cover acne, you have to use an extra concealor. This product loves my skin.
I started using Bare Minerals, over ten yrs. ago. I immediately started to get complments, "What have you done? Your face is glowing". " Are you using something new?" And I don't use make-up everyday. Now, 10+yrs later, When I am completely make-up free, friends still say, "you have the prettiest complection." LOVE/HATE
