Take out the Bismuth Oxychloride
I like mineral makeup but I can't use this one. I have an allergy to bismuth oxychloride (as do many people it seems) and in the summer my skin itches and burns and on windy cold days it does the same thing. So, I use the Merle Norman brand of mineral foundation. Great colors but makes dust
I liked the color match and the coverage, but the way this is packaged, i was cleaning up powdery make-up everywhere, and it made me sneeze and cough... I have allergies. Good for people who "don't like makeup."
Let me start by saying that this is the only foundation I've ever bought and used. I didn't wear makeup before finding this because I didn't like the fuss and the strange feeling on my face the few times I'd tried it. If I don't touch my face, I can totally forget I'm wearing it. I don't like how it feels if I do touch my face, but it's not as bad as other stuff I've tried in the past. It comes of...read moref really easily, unfortunately, and starts just wearing off after a couple of hours, as other reviewers have said-I don't know if that's normal for foundation or not, but I tend to only wear makeup for specific events, not all day, so that's ok for me. I just wash it off when I'm done. The times when I *do* want it on for a while, is because it's a mild sunscreen-half the reason I bought it. It REALLY beats the thick greasy gross feeling of normal sunscreens! I also find it easy to apply. I used to be intimidated by the idea of having to put on my own makeup, now it's a breeze. What else...?It doesn't irritate my skin or clog my pores. It's not tested on animals, and I feel better about using a mineral foundation because it's more natural, and a few minutes of sleuthing makes me think this is one of the better ones. When I bought this as part of the Get Started Kit (it was called something like that) I was a little horrified at the amount of money, but I don't think that it's actually that bad for makeup, and the kit itself is a good deal compared to buying piecemeal even if you don't use it all. I've had it for two years now, using the foundation/mineral veil for 'occasions' and days outdoors and I'm not half finished with it. Love this product!

LOVE BARE ESCENTUALS
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bare Escentuals foundation. It makes me look so natural and it's not bad for the skin. It also works for all skin types. However, you have to be careful not to use too much to avoid looking cakey. Great for QUICK make-up application!
If you're like me--you don't want to spend a lot of time in front of the mirror for a natural look--this is a great foundation. I've been using it for about 3 years now. I have tried dozens of different types of foundation, and detested the heavy, greasy feel of foundation. This is a light-weight product, and it covers pretty well (other than some hyperpigmentation, I don't have a need for heav...read morey coverage)--and is quick to put on, and take off. I have 3 children--from 1 to 8 years, and some days, I hop out of the shower, moisturize, put on this foundation & a little blush, and that's it.
