I'Ive tried so many foundation powders and nothing makes my face as luminous as this one does. your face just glows and looks beautiful. I would highly recommend this product product for people who dont want a heavy powder foundation. LOVE THIS PRODUCT AS IT DOES NOT CLOG PORES & GIVES A NATURAL LOOK INSTEAD OF ONE THAT HAS BEEN PAINTED ON. DOES SEEM TO SETTLE INTO PORES/FINE LINES WHEN FIRST USED BUT WITH CONTINUED USE THE PORES/FINE LINES BEGIN TO BE LESS OBVIOUS. No shade matches me
I love this makeup, however, the shade selection does not match my complexion-meaning that I would get my money back for not having a perfect match. With any other mineral makeup, I ould wear medium tan, medium beige, or tan. Their tans are neutral or cool which doesn't match my golden warm complexion. It does all it claims for me except match my complexion which is the most important thing about a foundation. I use Avon Perfect Match Mineral Makeup in medium beige. While it isn't as pure as BE, it's cheaper and forfills all the claims BE does, it matches my complexion, and it cheaper at $10 (cheaper if you get a sale). fell for the marketing
i thought: i have sensitive skin prone to acne, i need an all mineral makeup! Bare Escentuals here i come. At $25 this was a disappointing, non-existant value. Spending time outside with my Fairly Light on turned my skin orange, and any kind of sweat absorbed the powder (not the other way around) and pebbled off. Overrated
I first bought this because my friend had gotten her kit and her makeup looked amazing. When I first used the product, I was really happy with the results...until one day, my skin starts to itch and I felt like my face was sunburnt. I have really oily skin, and have to touch up every few hours with this product. It just disgusts me when I put on the product how the powder will just go on to clog m...read morey pores...Icky thought. I don't use this anymore as a result. It's great but does take some experimenting
I don't usually wear makeup because my skin is so sensitive. But due to that sensitivity, I get splotches under my eyes and on my cheekbones from the sun. Used to work - now I am older and dryer - leaves me chalk like often, dryer, and really shows my lines
I need a dewier finish then this...esp if I have this on and then a dry power blush, my face looks flat! I can buff it in really seriously and work it in, but then I really loose the coverage it gives. Then also I need to use a cream blush to give me a glow. All my super great skin care products that do give my skin great condition, glow and youth, seem to be undone temp only, with a mineral finish. I love this stuff instead of liquid foundation. i apply with a bug powder brush and then go back over trouble areas with a concealer brush. it looks natural, but hides the ugly stuff. i will say, that if ti don't go back over my face with the mineral veil, i get oily in the summer time/ hot weather. one thing I love to do is mix a little of this powder with my daily moisturizer for a tinted moisturizer. it;s great for daytime, or bare minimum makeup.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

best color match i've ever had!
This foundation matches my skin PERFECTLY and I've never found any liquid foundations that did. I use the Light kind. My skin is combination and a has very golden undertone which was why I could never find any foundations to match it. This one, however, gets the color just right. It goes on easy but make sure you only put a little bit in the cap because the most you try to put on the more fake it'...read morell look. If you want more coverage keep putting a little bit in the cap then buffing that on your face again then repeat as necessary. My only complaints are that the oily areas on my face do look oily because this foundation is kind of shiny in itself. But they're coming out with a matte version in August which I've already tried and love! Also, the foundation doesn't last all day for me but putting primer on before helps and if not you can always buff more foundation on your face without it looking caked on. My perfect foundation
Here's a news flash: I don't have perfect skin, you don't have perfect skin, no one has perfect skin. However, I want to look as if I have perfect skin, so I've been on the hunt for the perfect foundation for years. I'm not sure where I first bought bareMinerals. I love to watch infomercials in the middle of the night, so that's probably a safe bet. I tried it for the first time several years ago...read more. Since then, I've strayed, but now I'm back to stay. This is the product that gives me the illusion of perfect skin. For most people, the fact that this foundation is all natural and doesn't have a long list of ingredients means that it doesn't irritate skin. I have heard that some people are sensitive to bismuth oxychloride, in which case they should avoid this product. Otherwise, It's worth a try. I find it so gentle that I can use it immediately after exfoliating or waxing with no irritation whatsoever. Tip: The application can be a bit tricky until you get the hang of it. Complaints I have heard about this foundation have been "it's shiny" or "it's too heavy." If you're finding either of those things to be true, I can almost guarantee that you're using too much product. The way I apply is to shake some foundation into the lid, then tip the lid back into the jar. Whatever sticks to the lid is the amount I use. Work it into the brush really well (you shouldn't see it on the outside of the brush), tap off any excess and buff it all over your face. For more coverage, just repeat.
