Does not work for everybody
I bought this product because I wanted sheer, natural coverage. I have acne prone skin and everything causes me to break out. So when the claim that this would not cause break outs, I had to try it. After my first use, I could already feel my skin starting to itch. There was fine powder all over my bathroom counter (not easy to remove when you're rushing to get ready in the morning). By midda...read morey, I was already wiping off all of the makeup. By the end of the day, I was so ready to wash my face and get this stuff off my face. Terrible foundation...
For someone with dry, aging skin, this is the WORST foundation! It is touted to NOT get into wrinkles and fine lines but that's exactly what it does! I would never recommend this mineral foundation to anyone. ...o.k., maybe a teenager. One has to have perfect skin to be able to use this product. DO NOT BUY IF YOU THINK IT WILL COVER/MINIMIZE WRINKLES
I used to love this product then I noticed that as I became older and had more wrinkles the bare minerales just stayed right in the wrinkle; so it actually made all the wrinkles more pronounced. I had about 15 bare minerals little cups with different colors and I just gave them all away to a 20 something year old. It looks great on her but on a 43 year old very bad. Not worth it
I am in my 60's and this product settles in lines and if you have to put it on a little heavier to cover red it looks like you put white caulk on your face. Hate it!

Not for all Skin Types
As a professional makeup artist, I would recommend this product for normal to combo type skin. Being that it is a powder form, I don't think it is very good for mature skin which tends to be drier and have wrinkles which can be enhanced by this product. Must have
I used this for over 5 years also and I could never go back to any other makeup! It feels like I have nothing on at all, looks very natural, lasts all day. I will say I always wear a primer with it. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 10 is that if face gets (rain, sweat, tears) it becomes streaky and is impossible to blend back in. Love this product!
I absouluty, LOVE this product. I have extremely dry skin and sometimes dull skin. This product gave me the most perfect dewy and radant skin, i can't go a day with out it. It was well worth the money. I am 52 and LOVE IT
I have used Bare Minerals for about 5 years. THis is the ONLY makeup I have ever worn for that long. It covers my large pores and makes me look younger. People are always amazed that I am 52.
