Saved my face
I always had trouble with liquid and cream foundations. They always made me break out, they never stayed on, and they would change color on me throughout the day. I started to use Bare Minerals and loved it! It covers my imperfections,stays on all day(I never need to touch up) and the color stays perfect! I have never had this few breakouts in my entire life! I am young, but I do have larger pores and sensitive skin, and I still feel that this is the best foundation product for my skin type. accentuates fine lines/pores
I've been using this product line (primer and powder foundation) for about 6 months. I am looking for something else because I've discovered it really accentuates my lines and pores (I'm 32). I have doctor diagnosed sensitive skin, and on the plus side, this product line has not caused me to break out, which is good. I am over 50 and so I have a few problems that the models doing the commercials don't have. I really like the way this product make my skin look 'bare'. Now when I use the foundation that I used to wear, I look waxy. I give it a thumbs up for looking natural. I don't get it
I really don't love this product. I'm a make-up artist and I see people who come in wearing this and it always looks too shiny and too caked. I've seen more people mis-use this product then use it successfully. I don't find it to be matte at all. Too much hype!
I don't know of anyone who hasn't seen this product advertised. It is not as good as they make it to be. You can still see my acne scars through all 4 layers of makeup powder! It is not bad considering it's just powder. I do not recommend sleeping in it though it causes more breakouts that way.
