I love the feel.
I am in between on this so far. I like that it feels like you have nothing on, but it does take awhile to master the art of concealing your flaws. Swirl, tap, buff repeat, swirl, tap, buff, repeat. But I definetly recommend people considering this to try it! Years of searching and finally I find this
In my teens I had acne and had to wear the worst orange-based liquid crap ever. In my 20s, I thought Erno Laszlo was where it was at. For my 30s, I spent a ton of money on Chanel foundation (and liked it but it *did* drain the wallet). Finally, in my 40s, I tried Bare Escentuals and I will never use anything else. I thought it would dry out my skin (let's face it -- despite their claims, it *is...read more* essentially powder) but it definitely does NOT. I have uneven skin tone and my skin remains quite oily for someone my age, but I can look downright luminous when I wear this product. I adore it and evangelize it whenever I can. Most of my friends now use Bare Minerals and they love it, too! One downside: Traveling with it is a royal pain. Practically all of it escapes from the little holes. Great for fair skintones!
I have been using this foundation for over two years and it is the only one that matches my very fair skintone. I can put this on and do not feel like I have a mask on my face. It is easy and quick to appy and lasts all day until I wash it off. My skin has red blotches and this evens that out. The coverage can be as light as you want it or as full as you like and it still gives your skin a glo...read morew. I never thought I'd say this....I love BareMinerals!
I previously reviewed this and thought the bismuth was tearing up my skin. I was wrong! It was the bareVitamins Skin Rev-er Upper that was doing it! since I stopped using that, the BareMinerals have been amazing. I love the sheer to medium coverage I get (too heavy looks terrible on me) and the reflective properties helps my dry skin look fresh. It does not seem to last a full 12 hours o...read moren me, but for most of the day, I look fresh and alive. I love it. no bad reactions, no dryness. The jars don't leak (and I travel a lot)but I wish it all was a bit cheaper. For all skin types

Love it!
I've used BE on & off for 3 years now & have decided never to go back to liquid. I love the ease of use, the coverage, & the way my skin looks after using it for so long. The colors Medium Beige & Medium Tan are great for me for winter & summer respectively. I haven't really tried many other mineral brands, so I can't compare too much, But BE has given me goregeous skin. Good Stuff
At first I was dissapointed with the coverage. But after watching the instructional video I understood which brushes to use for the different products and how exactly to use the products themselves to get the most out of them. I use the Kabuki for full foundation coverage and the concealer brush for applying foundation to specific spots for fuller coverage which does well on it's own. I have yet t...read moreo purchase the actual concealer. I didn't like having to tap the foundation into the lid. I noticed if you didn't swirl the brush carefully you could send minerals spraying around the bathroom. With the price of this stuff I really don't want any wasted. It would be nice if they could give you something like a little seemless plastic cup that is deep enough to hold the entire length of the bristles. Mechanics aside, the product has allowed me to give up liquid foundation for good. I have combination skin so liquid has never been good to me. Glowing Finish
While this product does not provide as much coverage as it claims, I love the luminous look it gives my skin when paired with the Mineral Veil.
