It took me a while, but now I love it!
When I first tried BareMinerals foundation, I hated it. I thought it made all women of color look ashy. On my first try, the saleslady assured me that I should go with "Dark", as if that was the only color for an African American woman. I discovered that "Dark" was too dark for me - it didn't look natural at all! After some experimentation, I landed upon the correct shade - Warm Tan. It is spectacular! Now a Natural Beauty
I really like it, you can decide how "formal" you want to look and is worth the time it takes. There is a learning curve to perfecting it, but wasn't hard. Also, can be a little messy, you have to have a dedicated area that is ok because it can get "dusty". Great
I originally tried BareMinerals a few years back, and wasn't entirely satisfied with the results. One has to keep in mind that it isn't meant to cover as much as say, a liquid would. I recently decided to give it a second chance, and after learning how to properly apply it, I fell in love. I especially like the dewy aftereffect of the application. The only problem I can think of is that the ka...read morebuki brush can be a little irritating if you buff too vigorously. Not good for oily skin
This productis definitely not meant for oily/acne prone skin. It does not do much for coverage, especially if you have acne scars. I was hoping for a better product but it just didn't meet my expectations. good for rosecea
I really do think this makeup has improved my skin.It is a little on the shiny side for me even when I layer it with mineral veil,my skin is very oily.I find that if I feel like going back to liquid foundation,no matter how good the brand,it doesn't look as natural as BE to me. LOVE IT
I have tried about 400 different types of foundation and this is my all time favorite. I know some people think it is overrated but it has done wonders for my skin. I have rosacea-you can't even tell with this foundation. The trick I think is layering it. Great coverage
I tried this foundation after complaining to a friend about how heavy my current foundation was. She recommended I try Bare Minerals and I love it! Really good coverage without being too heavy; I don't like the "matte" look and this just makes my skin look pure and even without feeling dry or looking cakey. I use the warmth occassionally and rarely, if ever, use the Mineral Veil. great coverage
