I Love this product!

Best EVER!
I have used this brand since 2001 and am responsible for several dozen converts. I have oily skin, huge pores and when I began using it I lived in MS (code for HUMIDITY). I stopped wearing all foundations because of caking in spots and runny messes in others. Bare Minerals solved the problems. Everyone says "I want to have your skin!" I love it!
I have been using this product for many years and I love it! People are always complimenting on my complexion. I have a tendency to get red in the winter and between the foundation and the Mineral Veil my complexion is flawless. I love the "next to nothing" feel of it on my skin, and my pores do not clog. After wearing foundation for 15 years and trying numerous brands, from drugstore to high end, I tried Bare Minerals and absolutely love it! Tried and true
Okay, I understand that this stuff is pricey but it WORKS. The only thing that has come close for less money is Physicians Formula but it's less natural looking. This stuff makes my face glow and since I've been using it, I haven't had a breakout in OVER a year. Yes, it's expensive but it's WORTH it. I won't use anything else - I have light skin that's a bit dry and this stuff is the bomb. not for dry skin.
I wanted to like this, because it's so quick and easy, but my kids even said this looked bad on me. It really highlighted lines, and dried my skin out badly. Learning Curve and Moisturizer needed
While BareMinerals products seem to be something people either really love or really don't, I feel that had I reviewed this product when I first got it my review wouldn't be as favorable. The key, I've found, is in really taking your time the first few times and making sure your skin is fresh and moisturized. I found a beauty supply shop in my local mall that sales people demonstrated how to apply BareMinerals. I didn't buy anything at first because I had read a few people had experienced some skin irritation and wanted to leave the product on my face for the day and see for myself. While I was there, interestingly enough, girl after girl with seemingly flawless skin would stop in, walk straight to the BareMinerals department and pick up a couple of products, purchase them and leave. Two even stopped to comment to me about how much they loved BareMinerals when they saw me getting my make-up done. Having worn liquid foundation all my life I wasn't quite prepared for the look or the feel of a powder on my face. But as the day wore on and my finish stayed on (even though the representative had put it on VERY lightly) I grew evermore impressed. After some consideration I decided to give it a try. At first I wasn't happy with the results putting it on myself. It made some areas of my face look a bit dry and it didn't seem to cover up areas as well as I had remembered. However over the next week I had microdermabrasion for the first time and started a proper moisturizing regime, and took my time applying my new BareMinerals foundation. I am happy to say that I now LOVE this product. It truly looks more natural than any other foundation I've ever used, stays on much longer, and conceals blemishes almost as if by magic. I am now a true BareMinerals die hard fan. The only downside I can see is that it doesn't travel well and I fear I'll quickly become addicted to the different looks, I'll soon run out of room and money!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful
