Try it out in the store first...

I don't have sensitive skin, but hate wearing makeup, so when I worked at Sephora a few years back the rep suggested it. As soon as the powder touched my face, it began to burn. I'm not sure what it was in it, but I had a bad reaction. Other customers had the same reaction. I have now discovered PURminerals at Ulta, and it works just as well, and without the burn.

    The only one for me!

I've gone through so many different foundations, because I have sensitive and acne prone skin. Nothing really ever gave me great coverage and alot of them rather made my face really greasy or really dry. It has been an uphill battle. But when I got their starter kit for my birthday I have been so happy with it! It gives me great coverage and actually clears up my skin at the same time!! YAY! The handi buki brush is my favorite for applying because it gives me a fuller coverage.

    Ouch, it stings

You better not have sensitive skin if you try this brand of mineral foundation. The bismuth in it will sting and itch!!! In addition, the bismuth apparently makes the foundation have a "sheen" that looks to me like the tin man's makeup in Wizard of Oz.

    Have Never Looked Back

I, like many women, have skin imperfections. I have dark circles and acne scars that are my main concerns. When I first saw the infomercial for this product I figured why not give er a try. Of course the first time I applied way too much, but I got better at the whole swirl, tap, buff thing. Once I had this mastered, I have been very happy with the results. I don't go looking for another or differ...read moreent foundation, I just look for layering products like pure radiance or faux tan. You can change the coverage by the brush that you use. All in all after mastering the brush technique I have never looked back!!

    Not good for dry skin

If you have extremely dry skin, you don't want to use this product. No matter how hard you buff, it just doesn't even out.

    Like it alot

I wear this all year! It does take a little practice to master but my friends didn't even realize I was always wearing foundation. They thought my skin was naturally flawless. I wish!

    Two thumbs down!

I have roseasa that bothers me sometimes. My two best friends are in love with BareMinerals. They thought I would love it too, eventhough they know I do not really wear makeup (besides mascara and lip balm). I ended up buying a bunch of this stuff. What a waste! It did not help cover my pink cheeks and my face looked very makeupie...which I hate. It also dried my skin and made it flacky.

    naturally flawless

a lot of people talk about their powdery or matte results from this product. but my experience has been the exact opposite. as a 26yr old who has struggled with cystic acne most her life, this is the only product i've found that has successfully covered my scars while still allowing my natural beauty to shine through. plus, it doesn't upset my skin or cause breakouts. most foundations made me f...read moreeel like i was wearing a mask or hiding something. bare minerals just helps me put my best face forward.

    So So

I tried this since I'm not much of a make up wearer and although it does kinda do its job, I really don't like how it rubs off so easily. I tried to use it all just get rid of it since I paid so much for the starter set, but the brushes irritate my skin too much. It was kind of a waste.
