A Glowing Effect
I saw this and it brought memories back when I was a kid because my sisters used to crush up their powdered makeup, add shimmering powders to their and use a brush to lightly put it on their faces. I purchase this and what I loved about it , was its not heavy, it claims are exactly what this product says it does. I can wear this and the results are stunning, the coverage is great. I wanted to try a mineral foundation for a while but was a skeptical of the coverage that a powder would provide, having bad luck with powders before. But this product was recommended to my by a family member, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it did cover my imperfections! It takes a couples "coats" but it is possible to get the coverage of a liquid foundation. This is a great product that is also great for your skin. With continued use of this product, I have noticed my complection has improved with fewer breakouts. It was okay.
I like the fact that it covered the flaws on your skin... after applying it I felt like my skin was glowing and fresh. But after about an hour it started to feel cakey and started melting... so it didn't last very long. Did not like it at all.
Yes, it does look natural and nice...for about an hour. I brought this product base on all of the raves reviews. This product did not last on my oily/combo skin at all. It starts to look blotchy and oily after about an hour or two of wear. For me, I can't really reapply it without taking off the makeup entirely or else it will look uneven, blotchy, and unnatural. I don't see what's so great!
I have tried and tried to use this product. I've tried with and without moisturizer, and I simply don't care for this. I feel like it makes me look older, that it shows all of my lines and imperfections. It does stay on for a long time, but it made me look and feel like my face was caked up. My mother swears by this product, but it really doesn't look good on her either! I wasn't happy with this purchase and feel like for over $20 it was a total waste of money. I wouldn't pay $5.00 for this stuff. Bare Escentuals Bareminerals original SPF15 Foundation
I tried this product when it first hit the market and I thought it was the greatest foundatio eve. It does a great job at toning down redness around the nose and from breakouts. It can leave your face feeling dry and I find that it settles in my crow feet lines. I absolutely LOVE bare minerals foundation. It really conceals my little blemishes and makes me feel as though i am wearing nothing and is super gentle on my skin. No coverage, disinegrates throughout the day.
I really tried to like Bareminerals. I really did. I bought the bisque, the foundation, the mineral veil, all of that junk. I applied all three and you could still see a pimple I had on my cheek. and it wasn't like, a huge pimple or anything. Then throughout the day I wore it it like, disinegrated. This foundation actually helps your skin overtime!

Perfect if you like to look natural.
I am extremely fair with freckles, so I wanted something to match my skin, conceal redness and blemishes, yet not cover freckles. This is perfect! I use the foundation as the concealer and it covers completely whereas liquid concealers don't stay in place. I can also just use it around my nose and eyes to hide imperfections while not covering my skin at all everywhere else.
