Best Foundation!
This is the only foundation I've used in the past 7 years! I love to wear make up, but wouldn't consider myself a make up artist! But I can be with this. It is so easy to apply, and pretty much impossible to screw up! My skin feels great when I am wearing it. And I really do think it has approved the overall appearance of my skin! perfect skin

Love-hate relationship
I love this, and I hate it. It is very hard to review. I used to wear Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, and my mom got this for me as a gift. At first I loved the coverage and the light feeling. Then for a few weeks I got the feeling that the color was off and the coverage was too heavy--especially when I would sweat and get warm (it looked cakey sometimes I think). I also think the color is ...read morea bit yellow for me, but that is a personal thing and I don't think it should detract from the product rating. Anyway, now I am using it again and I am starting to love it. I am using a lighter hand with the coverage and I feel like my skin looks great. Perhaps this is best for someone whose skin takes this particular color well (maybe since we got into the summer months my skin has changed a bit to match?) I would recommend trying this product before buying a whole kit (this stuff is expensive!) I got the kit and it has a few colors that I will never wear because they are way too dark for me. excellent coverage!
this product is great for several reasons: the coverage is excellent; theres no base face finish; it doesnt come off until you take it off - no sweaty cakey gunky feeling on your face. the downside is the blending. you cant buff it with just a brush - a makeup sponge works better to buff it out and keep the powder from settling into deep linesThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

This is my #1 foundation choice! Skeptical at first, my best friend had to talk me into using it, and only after she gave me the darker color from her starter kit. I always used the "full coverage" foundations plus cover-up. This is so much lighter and less cakey with better even-ness. Some other posts mentioned an itchyness when using this make-up. Works great for me!
I have been using BareMinerals for a little over four years now. I love it. I have oily skin, and with blotting papers throughout the day I find the foundation stays put. The foundation covers a little or a lot, depending on how much you want to apply. It does cost more than I would like, but a small container lasts for about 2 months, for me. It doesn't cause my skin to break out, and feels bette...read morer than a liquid foundation. I think it is worth the money. One thing I find irritating is that the containers have a sifting cap that keeps the bulk of the foundation from coming out in a pile. I used to be able to flick the sifting cap off, and make sure to get every last bit out. The cap now seems to be glued in place.
