    Hate it!

It works great on my daughter's youthful skin, but on mine it's awful. I'll stick to MAC, and not have to clean my vanity counter everytime I apply my makeup anymore.

    Simply the BEST!

I have been using Bare Escentuals products for about a year and a half and I absolutely love everything about them! The best thing about the bare minerals is that you can put as little or as much coverage as you need without it looking unnatural or leaving that makeup line at the jaw. At first i felt naked leaving the house because it is so light but you get used to it and its great for your ski...read moren! I will never go back to liquid foundation again. Its not for everyone though, women who are a bit older with some wrinkles shouldn't use powder makeup, as it tends to settle into the lines. I have found that if you use a great primer (i use smashbox photo finish light) the makeup stays in place longer and doesn't wear due to humidity. This is a beauty must have! I wear their whole line of products and have yet to be disappointed!

    Bare Minerals Foundation

I have tried Bare Minerals products for over 5 years and unfortunately the foundation does not do well on older skin - it leaves lines and does not go on as easily as it advertises. Probably for young skin it looks great but young women have great skin (as I did when I was in my 20's, 30's, 49's and 50's. Now in my 60's my skin has changed and Bare Minerals Foundation just does not work for me w...read morehich is quite disappointing as they claim it is for all skins no matter the age bracket. Their other products such as blusher and eye colors are super except you have to be careful not to use eye colors that have a lot of glitter. The glitter only accentuates eye lines and I don't need any help in making my hard-earned lines look any larger! I still purchase their color products as they are easy to use and are soft and the selection is fantastic. If I could I would purchase way more than I do already.

One of the only foundations that doesn't break me out

I have to love BE. I have no choice. It's one of the ONLY foundations that doesn't break me out. The powder isn't my favorite for my mid-thirties skin--it does tend to be less flattering to fine lines, I think--but it's better than most products out there.

    great experience

this was the first time i had used a mineral makeup. I was pleasantly surprised. It gave such a smooth coverage and the application was so easy and less time consuming

    My Absolute Favorite!

I love this product so much...I've been using it for almost two years now. I love it because it will conceal any areas you may want to hide without calling attention to that area. As well, I have some hyperpigmentation on my forehead and cheeks and this is the only product that covers it without being cake-y. The price is great too because you use a small amount every day - therefore, it lasts a very long time. I'm devoted to Bare Minerals!

    No more searching

I switched from liquid foundation to this 3 years ago, and that's the longest I've ever stuck with a foundation. I have sensitive, fair, combination skin with hyperpigmentation from acne breakouts and redness in my cheeks. This does not irritate, and stays on all day. It doesn't completely cover my flaws, even with the concealer brush, but I don't want an airbrushed looking face anyway. I want to ...read morejust look healthy and natural, and this makes that happen for me. I got my sister in law hooked on it, and she has gotten all the women in her family hooked and her best friends. After reading most of the reviews, I guess you either love it or hate it. I LOVE IT!

    The best. Period.

My acne-prone skin LOVES this stuff. In fact (and this may sound odd), my skin does well when I sleep in it. I know BE has a separate product for that, but I didn't have as much luck with Rare Minerals. So, if I have a lazy night, I just swipe off my eye makeup and keep this stuff on. I've tried Everyday Minerals and Aromaleigh, but went running back to this. It's pricier, but lasts such a long time and is so very worth it.

    Best variety of shades!

I am fair skinned, and also have blue-pink undertones. Since most foundations have a yellow base, it is VERY hard for me to find one that works for me. On their website, they actually tell you the "base color" of each of their shades. In the winter, I use thier Fair, and in summer when I use self tanners and bronzers, I use Medium. I can blend the two in the lid if I need to get somet...read morehing in-between. The only drawback is it tends to settle in my smile lines and eye crinkles. Moisturizing and exfoliating is crucial before using this product.
