Not a fan...
I think this is just about the most overrated product on the market right now. Firstly, as a scientist, I can tell you lots of natural products are no better for you than synthetics depending on where they come from and how they are handled. So just saying something is natural doesn't mean much; so is arsenic. For people with a lot of sensitivities, mineral makeup offers some relief being less rea...read morective but for most of us, there will be no difference (minerals = soil and dirt, basically; talc, which suddenly gets a bad rep is ALSO a mineral which no one seems to realize; minerals like mica have been used in makeup for millenia...all shimmery eye makeup typically has mica anyway, so what's so new about this). As for how it looks, on me, this makeup looks cakey and fake, not one bit natural. My face isn't particularly dry or oily (it's combination/normal skin) but every pore on my nose was highlighted by the makeup and my cheeks ended up looking dry. My friend and I got made up at the Bare Escentuals stand-alone store, and were less than impressed. Great Foundation
I love this foundation. When I first started using it, I was surprised because I felt like I wasn't putting much of anything on, but it really improved the look of my skin. It never caused breakouts like other foundations have for me, either. Nice
I have oily skin and some acne and this provided great coverage and looked nice but it made me itch. The Minerals Foundation is being advertised by many different companies. Ads read for all skin types. I have very dry skin and am seeking a natural foundation. I LOVE this product!
I am a huge fan of mineral products - true, some are overpriced but Bare Minerals really is above any drugstore quality. When I can afford it, I always splurge for this. Also- it is very important to understand how to use them properly, I think you need to enjoy using makeup to get the best results. soft and touchable
I used this thinking it wasnt' going to be all it was quoted to be but I was wrong. Usually when I wear makeup I can't touch my face because it rubs off on everything but when I used this my face felt soft and touchable and not smothered. Love Bare Minerals!!!
I love these products I have them on auto delivery. They make my skin feel clean and not so cakey. Also the coverage is fantastic. I literally can fall asleep in this stuff and it dosent rub off on my sheets. I love the fact that it already has a SPF built into it .
