Didn't do well with my oily skin
It went on shiny and got worse very quickly. I had to blot excess oil within an hour and it felt as though it was completely gone from my face by noon. It was nice coverage but didn't last long enough.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Great Product

Bare minerals :(
As you may know people are saying that mineral makeup is the new thing because its natural, won't clog pores, andits great for any type of skin. Not for me
I was sucked in a few years ago by a lovely QVC deal. I liked the concept but the foundation did not work for me. First it doesn't give me the light finish, I felt that I had to apply, apply, and apply to get my desired coverage. I failed to achieve this flawless coverage, I still required a concealer. I felt like this product was a huge letdown after all the hype about it. It's supposed to look so natural that you can just keep piling it on, according to the infomercial, but that's just not the case--like any other powder foundation, it looks cakey and you can definitely tell you are wearing makeup. I Started Over
After years of not wearing make up because it felt so heavy on my face I started over wearing this makeup. It takes me less than five minutes in the morning. Coverage isn't that great
I've got very oily skin and it tends to break out easily. I started using BareMinerals in hopes that a natural product wouldn't cause as many breakouts (it says right on the box 'so pure you can sleep in it'). The first thing I noticed was the lightweight coverage. They claim this is a lightweight foundation that gives you an airbrushed look. But it was so lightweight that I couldn't really see an...read morey difference at all. It evens out my overall skin tone but I still have to apply a normal liquid concealer first. And it is a lightweight foundation, but then there's two other layers on top of that. I really liked the warmth (gives you a nice 'glow') and the mineral veil (kept my face from looking so oily right away) but my skin just couldn't handle that much make-up. I was still breaking out like crazy. I still use the foundation but I try to avoid the warmth and mineral veil unless I'm really getting dolled up. I know some people swear by this makeup (and i'm sure it's great if you don't have to worry about breakouts and blemishes) but I was unimpressed. I LIKED IT BUT HAD A FEW PROBLEMS
I USED THIS PRODUCT FOR A FEW MONTHS. IT'S COVERS PRETTY WELL AND FEELS GOOD ON YOUR SKIN. HOWEVER EVEN WITH THE NEW LOCK TOP THE POWDER SEEMS TO GET ON OTHER STUFF WHEN YOU ARE APPLYING IT. My foundation choice
I don't have too, too much experience with other foundations but I happen to love what Bare Minerals offers! I have the foundation in Warm Tan and it matches my skin perfectly, no difference from my indoor lighting to when I go outside. The foundation also looks very natural, almost as if you're not wearing makeup at all.
