Initially, I found this foundation extremely frustating because I was unable to get the right color for my skin. I tried 6 different colors until I was not going to buy anymore and over the phone the customer service agent suggested a color that they do not advertise. That color turned out to be perfect and I do love it. from reading the insert information, there are two types one that help elim...read moreinate blemishes and one that is for perfect skin. The one that does help me and helped to eliminate blemishes is the one that worked best for me. The size does not last as long as I would like and I seem to go through a medium container in 2-3 weeks. I don't care for this stuff. I'm probably the only one in the world that doesn't like it but I have to be honest. Essentials has some great stuff but I can't wear the foundation right on my skin or I'll start sweating and my face gets all hot and itchy. It's not too great for a product that claims to be amazing for sensitive skin- since I don't even have sensitive skin. Must be an allergy or somet...read morehing. Aside from my rare reaction it looks amazing, so I really wish my skin liked it. not worth the money
While I was excited to try BareMinerals Foundation (lots of good reviews and hype) I was NOT a fan. I found the process to take much longer than my normal foundation and was not happy with the results. My face looked shiny (in a bad way) and felt like it was full of makeup. They say you can't even feel the foundation, but I could and didn't like the feeling. My daughter loves it but myself?
My daughter who is 18 swears by this stuff and it looks really good on her ...So i thought i will try it but it just did'nt works as well for me it was light weight but seemed to get in my fine line creases and caked up after several hours I think it depends on your skin type..This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A little too much shine

Bye Bye Liquid Foundation!
A friend of mine introduced me to Bare Minerals about 2 years ago and it took me almost that long to try them out! I wish I took her advice 2 years ago...I love this product! You do not feel shiny, or like your make weighs a ton and I have noticed fewer breakouts since I started using it! Not Even Close to the Best Mineral Foundation out There..
Jane Iredale, Minerology, even PUR Minerals beat the crud out of this overpriced, messy, color limited shine enhancer. If you're oily, don't even think about it- you'll shine and shine.
