I really liked the powdery, light feel of this product. I have oily skin and the shine begins to break through about 20-30 minuted after application. In short, it's the only foundation I've been using for the past 5 years. It is easy to apply, goes on lightly, and the container lasts a long time (one lasts about six months for me). I gave it a nine because it is a little messy. How can you beat makeup you can sleep in? The only downside is the price. With everyone jumping on the mineral makeup bandwagon, why pay $25.00? I just started using Avon's mineral makeup. Sorry -wish i could give this one a great rating.
This was the first mineral makeup i tried, and tried, and tried. Never did love the look of it, but since I have sensetive oily skin, I tried other brands... and YAY! As others might have mentioned, this one does tend to hilight flaws such as huge pores & fine lines-even after a primer is used. It also has a weird "sheeny shimmer" I have shiny skin in general so i don't need any ex...read moretra. I could never ever wear this without a foundation or concealer. Just not enough coverage, and believe me, I have tried. Having said that, if you use it as a loose powder, it is fabulous!! Provides a nice airbrused look to your skin. Been using Bare Minerals since 2003 and I am curious about others?
Bare Minerals was the absolute best thing that ever happened to make up by far! The only issue I have is that I need a moist concealer and I like liquid foundation again for some reason? I absolutly love everything from this line! I think their makeup is great! It goes on effortless and conceals like you wouldn't believe.
