I have to say that I really do like using bare minerals. The coverage is great, and when I first started using them, my face cleared up. After using it for a while my skin started to become irritated. I looked more into the what they put in their products. This contains bismuth oxychloride, which can be irritating to your skin. I have since quit using their foundation. I sparkle Like a vampire!
Pros: Easy to use Stays on all day Cons: Extremely sparkly highlights lines essuntuates my pores! Overall: i hate this foundation, i sparkle like a vapire in the light, its awful ! Makes my skin itch
I like mineral foundation, and this does have a nice shine to it to give a glow. Fairly Light 1.2 is a nice color. However, the bismuth oxychloride in this product (that imparts the shine) makes my skin itch if I sweat a bit. The coverage is light to medium and they do have a good selection of shades. I bought this product during the summer and it worked for a while. I liked that it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. However, as the weather changed and winter set in brushing on this foundation made my skin flake -- even after loading up on the moisturizer. I wasn't sure how much I would like using bare minerals - not having a pressed powder seemed too inconvenient for me. But, I love it! Perfect Cover!
This item is a must-have if you have oily skin, small acne bumps, or an uneven skin tone. I at first was skepticle because when I went to the mall and had a "pro" at the BareMineral store put it on me it looked cakey! I still bought it though, AND THANK GOD I DID! The problem new users will have is to find a perfect amoun.t too much= cakey Little=little cover up. However play with it a little! AMAZING
I have terrible scarring from teenage acne and this covers all sins like no other makeup. I even tried the air-brush method which sat on my face and melted, but this truly gives me flawless skin.
