Not what I expected

just another loose powder.... really!
this is just another loose powder-- i didn't find it to be special at all. If you apply it the way that they tell you to, you just end up looking like you are wearing a lot of powder. I liked the brushes the starter kit came with, but the handle of my medium sized brush came off after a few uses! powder smooth in small amounts on older women
BareMinerals makeup is light and smooth. Wearing a small amount makes my skin look younger. However; Wearing enough for heavy coverage makes my wrinkles stand out. Love it!
I started using this after a lady at work told me how much she loved it. I'M SOLD! It is now the only foundation I buy. My skin is fairly smooth though and I don't have any problems with my skin. Doesn't live up to the hype.
At least not for me anyway. I tried this after seeing the founder on QVC talking about how great and 'pure' this stuff is. Well, I bought a small jar to start out and I was glad I did. This foundation does nothing to hide flaws and made my face itch, especially in hot weather. Plus, my face felt dirty when I was wearing it. Okay, but not great for oily skin.
I have oily skin, and this product didn't stay put even with a primer. I also have pronounced cheeks, and I found that it settled under my cheeks in my "lines." The coverage was decent and it looked nice before my skin got oily, but that was just an hour or so after I applied it.
