Good Choice for my Rosacea Skin
I have been using this foundation, with mineral veil, for more than a year now and I am a fan. It helps to cover my overall redness from rosacea without looking caked on like other foundation do (in order to achieve the same amount of coverage). I have received many compliments on my skin since using it. People are surprised to find out that I have rosacea. I also like that it doesn't clog my pore...read mores and it results in much fewer break outs for me. You do have to practice a little at first with the application of the powder as you can over-do it and make it look too powdery. Sometimes by the end of the day I do require touch-ups, especially if I am going out in the evening or to help clear up any oiliness from my skin (I have T-zone oiliness).This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

best foundation I've used
Other liquid foundations I've used in the past caused clogged pores and acne. I haven't had a breakout since I started using this foundation. Only a pimple here or there every 6 mo or so. So a great investment for me. Only downside if figuring out your color. I'm not sure if I'll buy it again...
Okay...I really hated this when I first tried it. Then I got the hang of how to apply it and my skin looks great! If you don't like it at first try applying it a few more times before giving up. Using primer and Mineral Veil w/it is the key, esp. if your prone to oilies! I'm still on the fence about the foundation color. It looks really dark in the jar, but when applied it matches pretty well...read more. Although, I did notice that the color oxidized by late afternoon (it's a little orangey). So apply it on your neck as well as your face. Also, what really freaked me out when I first tried BE is how glittery it is. I remedied that by using Mineral Veil before putting the foundation on and after, lots of Mineral Veil! It's messy, the swirling and tapping gets makeup everywhere. The best foundation ever!
I love this foundation! I have been using it for about 5 years and wouldn't change for anything. It works as a concealer, blemish coverage and as foundation. It's smooth, even, and gives a flawless finish. I am prone to breakouts and this foundation covers everything and people are always complimenting me on my complexion. I LOVE BARE ESCENTUAL products. Esp. the light foundation. It goes on smooth and feels like I have no makeup on. limited colors
limited colors three step or more process has drying effects and mica medium beige made me look orange has a learning curve to apply that tiny tiny amount. small jars hard to handle. use one brush for all product is the only good thing. Not a winner...
Definitely overrated! Granted the feel is light and airy,,,, but coverage does not stay on at all... 1-2 hrs. later its all off and showing every flaw on the face! The only time I would even wear this is at the beach, when I know it's going to come off anyways, at the gym, or on a hot summer day.....
