my honest opinion of the product ...its super, goes on with the lighter product first and second the mineral foundation.. makes skin smooth, and young looking and match the neck line. Great Foundation
I am in my late 50's. Fortunately I do not have a lot of wrinkles. I love this foundation. I have used BE for 3 years. I also use Mineral Veil in conjunction. Ladies: Bismuth Oxycholoride is not an ingredient so pure you can sleep in it!
I have to say, my sister and I got swept up in the craze. It's healthy, pure, will help reduce blemishes, etc. Three years later, my poor sister runs out. So I let her try my Jane Iredale pressed mineral powder (I liked the finer texture a lot better). She uses it for two weeks, and guess what--her skin clears up! EXCEPT in a line across her cheeks, WHY? B/c she was still using BE blush! Bismuth...read more Oxychloride is a cheap, unnecessary filler that 70% of women are allergic to. It can cause itching, redness and acne (my sister just got acne). The only way it bonds is by getting stuffed into pores, thus 'the buff.' I was shocked to find this out and just felt so sorry for all of the heartache my sister has been through never suspecting her makeup in the least. Nice, but too shiny
I got caught up in the mineral makeup hype since I break out easily and my skin doesn't handle liquid foundation very well (it took me about a week to recover from a short-lived affair with MAC foundation). So I thought that mineral makeup is the answer. But - like a good pair of jeans - you have to try a lot to find the one that's right for you. I was wearing it on a night out where we took pictures, and I tossed them all. Although I had just applied the minerals, my face stuck out as the most shiny one in the crowd - it looked really bad. And all that shine is definitely not a look I want to wear during the day either. So while I like the color choices, I don't like the finish. Wouldn't consider changing!
I have used BE for years and just love all the products, especially the foundation with the natural SPF in it. I mix different shades for differnt times of the year. It's just ok
