not for dry skin
I purchased this after hearing it was great for all skin types. This is not the case. I found it just made my moderately dry skin look worse. So much so I was unable to continue using it I looked so bad. This is not true for me of all powders. I have tried clarins pressed powder and had great results with it. id bare minerals warning

This Works Great!!
I have been using this product since the introduction in 1994/1995. I have really sensitive/oily skin. I use to use a high end liquid foundation & powder which was okay. I used that brand because it didn't give me a rash. When I found Bare Minerals Foundation I was a little skeptical. To my surprise, it worked great for me with the added benefit of sunscreen. LOVE.
First of all, I tried this product out years ago when it wasn't very well-known. I was skeptical because I didn't know if it would give me adequate coverage like a liquid foundation. I have been using bareminerals ever since. I absolutely love this product and will never go without it!!! It's great all year long. I can't say enough good things about it. Bare Escentuals foundation vs liquid foundations
I was skeptical at first trying any of the Bare Escentual product line. After all this was being hocked on late night tv every night. But after some research I decided it was worth a try. I have a fairly light skin tone and the usual oily to dry skin depending upon what cycle I am facing at the time. I did watch most of the infomercials and watched some of the live brodcast on qvc for more inf...read moreormation on applying the product. I decided upon going with an auto delivery shipment every 3 months to give it a good try. I was pleasantly surprised. I am active and frequently play in league sports. The foundation did not rub off until way into the game. This was a marked improvement over previous brands of liquid foundation I have tried in the past. It did help with an overall tone of eveness and even helped cover the occassional blemish. I did use this in conjunction with the mineral veil which gave it an even more smoothness. I would recommend this product especially for those who workout and need to maintain an overall continuity of color.
