Can't live without it!

The only thing that worked!
We all get cold sores, and they're painful and they look gross. I had one all summer and I tried just about EVERY product out there. One of my friends told me about Carmex, and whenever I get a cold sore I apply it at the first "pinch" feeling. It's amazing! The taste is "wannabe vanilla" haha, but it gets the job done. Lip Matters
Don't write this off as a product only for those who suffer from cold sores. This formula is a very good daily lip balm. Its especially reliable during winter when dry lips can be a major issue. The active ingredients are the following: Menthol, Camphor, Alum, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, Fragrance, in Petrolatum, Lanolin, Cocoa Butter, Mineral Oil and Wax Base. It retails for less then $2 at CVS. Al...read morethough it comes in different packages, I prefer the tube packaging for sanitary purposes. It tingly, but it doesn't hurt or feel uncomfortable. Although if you end up tasting it by chance, its kind of gross, it is still a great product. It does the job of protecting my lips while leaving it moisturized for the lip gloss I apply on top. And when I don't wear lip gloss, Carmex leaves my lips with a natural shine. This product is a goody! There is also a cherry flavored version out there. Teen Daughter With Sensitive Skin Loves It
My 16 year old acts like she'll die if she doesn't have Carmex. She has eczema and super sensitive skin so she can't use just any old thing, especially on her face. It doesn't take much for her to break out in hives. HOOKED
I have probably tried ever lip gloss under this sun and this one takes the cake and for less than three bucks! It has a great minty/tingly feel and makes my lips moist and supple. The Best Ever

it works
This works great on dry lips and doesn't feel too goopy/sticky. I don't like how it is hard to get the right amount out of the tube, I always end up getting WAY too much on my lips.
