I have sensitive skin, so my Doctor recommended this. BIG mistake. My skin became red and tight and dried out. It was horrible. I will never use this again.

A good basic cleanser.

It won't get makeup off well, unless you only wear a little bit and it isn't the long lasting kind. But it's a nice cleanser for the morning that won't strip your skin dry. It's reasonably priced, and the pump is easy to use. It's best for people with normal or sensitive skin (which isn't me right now), but it's still a good product.

No Good For Dry Skin

I received a full-sized sample of the Cetaphil and thought that it would perfect for my mom. She is 63 years old with very thin skin that has been completely destroyed by the sun. I have always heard such great things about how good Cetaphil is for sensitive skin. Unfortunately, it further dried out her skin and she had a bit of a reaction to it. It just goes to prove that not all products will work for all people.

Left my skin really dry.....

I don't know why this product is so hyped about. It left my skin really dry and tight after washing it off AND I have oily skin too. I liked how my skin felt really clean but I would have loved to keep some of the moisturizing properties but this just seems to strip away every ounce of moisture from my face. I always have to use a face moisturizer after this or else my face is too uncomfortably dry.

Great drugstore product, but not for me

This face cleanser was #1 for all of my friends in high school but it never worked for my sensitive/combination skin. It made dry patches on my face so I never stuck with it. I think it works well for people with oily/acne prone skin.

Great Basic Cleanser

I have really sensitive skin and this is the first that didn't turn my face red upon contact. I use it in the morning and at night and it doesn't dry my skin out. I love that its unscented which probably helps with the non-irritation of my skin. It doesn't take off eye makeup but seems to remove my foundation and concealer decently well without making my skin feel tight. It gives me a nice clean feeling and will definitely a new stable in my routine.

Clean and Soft Skin

I really like this cleanser because it is gentle on my skin and does a great job at getting rid of flaky skin and dry patches. I like the moisturizer to keep my skin soft and smooth. This is great for cleansing and moisturizing each day.

Loving it

I really like the way this feels on my skin. I feel like it's taking off all the impurities without stripping off the oils from my face. After I use this, my skin doesn't feel tight like with others.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

I have heard so many good things about this product, so I had to try it out. Unfortunately, it wasn't really effective for me. It didn't really remove my makeup, and I am really oily and even after using it, my skin wasn't really clean. It didn't touch my eye makeup very well, and there are far better products availiable for people like me with oily skin. My mom has really dry skin, so I gave ...read moreit to her.
