Drying

It's Ok

Meh...
I found that this mascara is only for a "natural" look. It does not apply enough product for my taste, and if I kept at it, I just got clumps. Overhyped.....
I am about to give up on drugstore brand mascaras. They just don't cut it for me. I might just head over to Sephora and splurge on a good mascara over there. I bought this after the article on best drugstore mascaras on here. I like how it sticks true to its name by being waterproof and is a pain to come off if you mess up. It doesn't seem to clump for me but it flakes off and that's what i hate a...read morebout it. The color doesn't seem to be as intense as I thought it was going to be. It's too dull. But it holds my curl without bouncing it back to straight and that's also another plus to it. Never buying this again. It didn't make my lashes appear fuller. Almost perfect!
This is a good waterproof mascara, but not the best. What I liked about it was that it did not dry out my lashes and when I removed it with my make-up remover, there were almost no lashes lost! That was impressive; especially for waterproof. It is also a really good lengthening mascara and almost NO clumps, and no flaking. However, I didn't find it quite waterproof enough. I really like Maybelline...read more mascaras and have been stuck on Colossal Volume. With summer coming and the humidity, I decided to switch to a waterproof version and the reviews on this one are pretty good. The first day I had it on I had a small emotional meltdown after a bad day at work! They weren't huge tears, and I wasn't sobbing, but I did have the sniffles and a few tears. When I looked in the mirror, there was black mascara debris under my eyes. I was so surprised! I have worn it since then and it seems to work well for the day to day things, but I wouldn't try it in water or at a wedding or funeral. I like it, but ..

very natural looking volume
I am very picky with mascaras. I have tried many different ones through the years and never repurchased any because I always wanted to see if there were any better ones. I love L'Oreal voluminous in waterproof as well, and although I love the look it gives my lashes, it did smudge on hot days. A great mascara for me is one that does not clump even after more then one coat, leaves my lashes soft, h...read moreold my curl, adds some volume and length but not too exaggerated, does not smudge and is not too hard to take off. I have found all these things with this mascara and its definitely a plus that it has vitamin E to nourish my lashes and prevents lash loss. Accentuates
I like the formula of this mascara, which is more on the creamy/liquid side. If you like thicker,drier formulas pass on this. I didn't notice any flaking but I've only had this mascara for 2 weeks. I wish it was a deeper black. But the way it highlights my already long lashes and fans them out makes me happy.
