Drying
I only use this once and only at night, because it is drying. My skin is dry so the gel causes my pimple to flake. I do think it's effective, and takes less than a week for the pimple to diminish. Tried and true
Yes benzoyl peroxide is a go-to when you're breaking out! Can be drying (as a lot of you have mentioned) and what works best for me to counteract is something with glycerin (vaseline cool and fresh is my fav). I'd recommend something richer, perhaps with vitamin e, for dryer skin, but mine is oily and that can be a bit much (unless it's winter!). Anyway, it's a good product and there are plenty of...read more equally good drugstore versions if you're lookin to save a little. Just look for 10% benzoyl peroxide in the active ingredients. best spot treatment!

Worked better than the 1st time
The fist time I wrote a review about this product I said that i wasnt too sure if it worked or not. Winter time has cause my oliy skin to dry up which has never happened before and now i have small and one large black head around the mouth area. I gave this product a try again on both the small and large black heads and it really works. You have to use the product as soon as the pimple starts to f...read moreorm. I used it twice a day, in the morning i applied this product first then my moisturizer and lastly my spf cream. I did not wear any make up for about a week. The small black heads are 100 % gone and the large black head has shrunk in size but it still there. The good thing is that its not getting any bigger its shrinking. Didn't work for me

Love it!
