Good for the tough stuff
I use this product when nothing else works. It's like a the weapon of mass destruction for pimples. You only use it when completely called for. And like WMDs, Clean & Clear Maximum Stength Persa-Gel 10 can have a "ground zero" affect so be careful not to use too much. If you have a big problem pimple before the prom kind of situation, Persa-Gel 10 is your best bet to treat it and...read more clear it up quickly before your big event. I don't recommend it for extensive use though. I read this article in Allure last year that said there was a study that found benzoyl peroxide to be more effective against acne when mixed 50/50 with butenifine (an antifungal found in a particular type of Lamisil. Since this is not yet available pre-mixed over the counter, I bought and mixed these, tried it on my breakout areas and found a big reduction in oiliness, acne and clogged pores. Clean and clear maximum strength persa-gel
I bought this for my daughter, but I find that even at my age I tend to get a breakout every once in awhile too. This gel/cream is also available, is so soothing when you apply it.
