Great pigment colors, easy application, variety of colors
I've bought about 3 of the HIP concentrated eyeshadows. These are probably very comparable to the MAC Cosmetics eyeshadows. The duo shades all compliment each other and can be combined with the various eyeshadows that HIP has. The eyeshadows last all day, no creasing and have not given me any irritation. average to good makeup
I like the colors and I like how it looks on the skin. It lasts long and it's easy to remove. It comes with a small mirror and a handy brush. One thing I don't like about it (actually it's something I don't like about any makeup except Mac), after a few hours it gets clumped in the skin of the eyes and when you close your eyes, you see a line of makeup. Doesn't stay on!
I read the rave reviews on this product so I went out and bought two. Thumbs down! I had to reapply 3 or 4 times because it seemed to evaporate off my skin! After only three hours of being in a nice air conditioned office, I looked in the mirror and I had that lovely eye shadow line where all the shadow had melted onto the crease! I am returning it to the store and am never buying it again! Great drugstore product
I really love these. The colors look good and they STAY PUT! I usually use the really intense colors as eyeliner and they stay where I put them all day long. Needs a good primer but great color
Even though I wish they had more interesting colors the combinations are nice. For me its a decent MAC knockoff, you do need good brushes to get the full effect of the color it takes a couple of swipes to get it on your lid with intense color but it helps you build the color rather than just having way too much on.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Pretty colors

Awesome Colors
I love these eyeshadows. They are long wearing and a great value. Don't be afraid of the depth of the color because the color goes on just right. My favorite dou for my green eyes is the gold and dark green. My husband loves how bright and open my eyes look with these colors on. Great for a drugstore eyeshadow!
When these first came out I bought five of them and it ended up that I used Dynamic #828 the most for the gold shade. Brightened up my eye area and looks best when layered over another shade to punch up the color a bit. Today I was out and saw the new Metallic Duos were out and I bought two, one in Gunmetal and one in Gilded. Not complaining at all and I think that I love the Gilded more since it's has more gold pigment and more punch to it.
