Not what I expected
I received this as a sample with a Laura Mercier product. The texture is nice and very moisturizing. However, $42 for a tinted moisturizer is a bit much and I have tried others that compare quite nicely without breaking the bank. LOVE THIS
I love this tm. It is not for girls who have problem skin. This is great to even out skin tone if you have pretty good skin to begin with. I love how it makes my face glow. The Laura Mercier like of tinted moisturizers seem to have a nice range to cover many skin tones. I buy the porcelain color and it matches my skin almost perfectly. I use this as a "base" underneath a light dusting of mineral powder foundation and I find that my makeup looks perfect even at the end of a 12 hour shift. Worn on it's own it provides very light coverage, it will even out ...read moreyour skin tone. If you add a few drops of luminizer you will get a subtle glow. I like this product more in the summer, when you don't want to feel weighed down and cakey with makeup. That being said I don't think it has tremendous staying power. Overpriced? Yes. Always go back
I've tried Christian Dior tinted moisturizer and Neutrogena tinted moisturizer as well and I keep going back to Laura Mercier. All of the products are fab. I also use the mineral powder. I use the oil free moisturizer and it works just as good as the one with oil. My BFF and I swear by this product and I have acne prone skin and she has flawless skin. I say it's the best because it gives me a natural look coverage. People are always surprise when I say I have make up on, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is the best ...not only it gives you a flawless look it also has SPF to protect our beautiful face from UV ray. It will stay long to keep you looking fresh. A staple.
I am a cosmetic addict that is always looking to try new products.. I have tried other tinted moisturizers and end up going right back to laura every time. It goes on smoothly, with just the perfect amount of color. For a more opaque look, I put Laura's powder foundation on top. Cakey, Dry, not easy to apply
This IS not a moisturizer, this IS a foundation. There is no moisture or dewyness-this will dry your face out. My skin: sensitive, normal (not oily or dry), no acne. Does it live up to the hype?
What I really like about this product is that it is not as greasy as some other tinted moisturizers out there, plus it has spf protection, moisturizing properties and foundation coverage. I don't like to use foundation so this is an ideal product because it gives me some coverage without being thick on my face, plus it is a great light moisturizer. I use the second to darkest shade, it's not a great match for my olive skin tone (I wish it was a little darker), but it is not too light as to make me look washed out. The darkest shade is too dark. If you buy this product, my opinion is to go with a darker shade than you usually would. I do use this product daily and sometimes I mix it with my Aveda tinted moisturizer, which is a darker shade.
