They changed the formula !
12/16/16: I just bought a replacement bottle and it appears they've changed the formula!?!. It has always gone on like a dewy moisturizer giving you the ability to blend it or rub it into your face. Like any moisturizer it takes a few seconds to dry and then your face just feels fresh and wonderful . This goes on almost like foundation and if you don't blend it fast enough it starts to dry &...read more cake on your skin and then you can't blend it anymore- so it's just stuck in a blotch. When I looked closely it was gunking up in my pores like a foundation does. If I wanted foundation I wouldn't be buying tinted moisturizer. I spent the whole day yesterday wanting to scratch my face off because it felt so gross. It felt very "present" and I think psychologically my face started to itch because I just wanted to get it off my skin. When I walked in the door I barely had my boots and jacket off before I was scrubbing my face. I am blessed with great skin ( 49 and no wrinkles yet ) but i'm quite pale & very dry so sometimes (especially in winter) I have some red-ish dry spots. I stopped wearing heavy make up and foundation in my 30s and I'm all about the natural look and feel now. I like the idea of being able to moisturize and even out the color. I love achieving that without feeling like anything is on- The dewy feel & look. I don't know what they did or why but now I have to start all over again to find a new tinted moisturizer. Natural Coverage!
As I get older (over forty) I want to have a more natural look and tried Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer and love it! It covers a bit but leaves your skin with a more natural look. nothing bad to say
I have nothing bad to say about this tinted moisturizer. I was visiting my friend in the hospital after she had a baby and commented on how great her skin looked. She laughed and said she was only wearing this. I ran to Sephora and bought it. It is AMAZING ! natural looking but gives amazing coverage! I use this and then add some Bare Essentials "faux tan" to my cheeks and my skin is perfect. Love it!
I love this tinted moisturizer! I hate face makeup in general like foundations and things and have never worn anything really. But for the winter I wanted to try maybe a tinted moisturizer to give me some color and glow and this really works for what I need it for. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything when I have it on.
