Little Hottie!
Not me but the polish color! LOL I purchased this in Little Hottie over the summer; it is a hot pink/fushia with glitter. However, as much as I loved the color and the variety in the line, it didn't stand up to my "pedicure test." I bite my fingernails (I know, I know!) so I usually have clear on my nails, but I get a pedicure every month. I always bring my own polish and usually don't spend more than $3 for a polish. I don't touch up my nails between pedicures, so I have high expectations that the polish will last and still be pretty 4 weeks from the time it is first applied. If it chips, that is a problem. The majority of polishes last the full 4 weeks with no issue (I used to apply a clear polish every weekend to extend the length of time the polish lasts, but lately I am getting lazy about this!); this one took me to about 3 weeks. In all fairness, I don't often wear glitter polish and I am thinking that with the different texture, it could have caused some premature chipping; it only happened on the big toe and it is easy enough to touch it up really quick before I am due for the next pedicure. I am still really impressed with this line and the color options available - they are just so eye catching, I can't even say it enough! I think it is worth it to risk having a touch up after several weeks. Great choice for bright, vibrant colors!
Hard Candy nail polish is a great line of colors if you are looking for bright, vibrant colors. None of the colors I have seen are anything but which is both good and bad. Not only are these colors unique and bright but the shimmer is amazing! It is hard to find a good shimmer that doesn't need a base coat to get the shimmer to really pop but this polish stands on its own and really pops. The previous review talked about the color Little Hottie and she was spot on about the color. I also recommend 632 Piece of Papaya (which is a vibrantly shimmery pinky peach color). The colors are insanely pigmented so they only take 2 coats to look exactly the same way they look in the bottle and really last awhile for a drug store polish (about a week without chipping). They are very budget friendly, are available online or at Walmart stores. In general Hard Candy cosmetics really pop and are eye catching (which is an understatement). I always get compliments on how great my nails look when I am wearing these colors. The glitter colors ( like Lace Me Up which is a black base look with pink, almost purple color) have a ton of glitter in every coat. This polish brand is my go to for accent nails, it really pops and catches the eye. I wish the brand was easier to find in stores (as previously stated its only available at Walmart) and there aren't a ton of colors to choose from.
