Did not work

I tried this product a few years ago and ended up giving it away for a friend to try out. On my oily, acne prone skin it actually CAUSED breakouts. I was disappointed, as that is the exact opposite of what it was supposed to be doing for my skin.

A Must-Have For My Combination/Oily Skin!

THE OIL BLASTER!!!

First off let me just give this disclaimer...my skin is absolutely crazy. It can get so oily that it could compete with the grease on a slice of pizza. Then I have areas of my face that can get so dry that it gets irritated, red and will start peeling or flaking especially during the Winter. I already use Clinique's moisturizers...I swear by them so I figured why not give this a try. I did my research and was hesitant to pick up #4 because #3 seemed so safe for Combo skin BUT when I had the breakout from Hades I knew that I needed something drastic to help me out! Also, the SA informed me of Clinique reformulating their toners to not be drying...so I figured what did I have to lose? This stuff is amazing!!! I tried it out the same night I purchased it and woke-up the very next morning with beautiful semi-clear skin!!! This stuff had help exfoliate my flaky, peeling skin and my pimples were almost gone after one night of use. I couldn't believe it...then throughout the day my skin stayed matte ESPECIALLY my T-Zone. If you have extremely oily skin this product will be a God-send...and if you're like me with a few dry areas just make sure you moisturize. Clinique's Moisture Surge Gel-Cream is awesome too!

Love it

I use this with the Clinique products acne cleansing foam, clearing gel, and dramatically different moisturizing gel as my routine to wipe out acne. I used to suffer from long lasting painful cystic acne and since starting this routine 5 years ago, have not suffered from one cyst. Once in a great while I will get a pimple (which I will then dab on some Clinique emergency gel lotion), but using all of the above, it will be gone in a couple days.

Don't like it

I've been using this product for a few weeks now and my face is breaking out like crazy. I'm not sure if it's because I'm trying to skin care stuff or what... The odor absolutely burns my eyes to the point where I'm tearing up. It also has alcohol in it and I'm not sure how comfortable I am using a product that contains alcohol. My pores also look the same. Isn't it supposed to clear out and close...read more your pores? The only reason I gave it a few stars is because if my face is very oily and I want a quick fix I just dab this all over and I'm dry as a bone. Good for on-the-go I guess, but I will not be purchasing again.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion

I have used this clarifying lotion for the past 10 years. i will never use any other brand. I use this after washing my makeup off at night and this is my last step to be sure that I have removed all my makeup. I love it. It doesn't have a strong smell. Great value - a bottle lasts a long time.

Love it!

This lotion is great for oily skin. I'e been using this for a few months and have noticed that it prevents my skin from breaking out. It is very affordable as well. Definitely worth giving a shot.

My Life-Saver In A Bottle!

I have tried every skin care system out there, but only one has truly worked at exfoliating my skin, reducing oil, clearing and preventing acne, all while keeping my skin from feeling like a desert: clinique clarifying lotion 4. I would strongly recommend anyone who has tried everything else to give this a shot! it's the only one that has worked for me, and it just might be your answer too.

Even worse than the others.

Where do I start? I thought this was supposed to be a product for oily skin, but it only made me more oily, and it burned my skin so bad that people thought I was breaking out into hives. Not mention that it made my skin itchy. Another waste of money.. Too bad; I actually wanted to like this product.
