Good if you want a cheap fun color...
but the quality is hit or miss. Some of the creamy colors I have (light green and orange) are goopy and don't apply well. Other shimmery colors are fine. You get what you pay for....
I have a pretty green color with gold flecks and a silver colored one. I love the huge color selection on these and they're really affordable. Don't expect these to be dupes for higher-end nail polishes though. They're good if you want to play around with different colors. The colors are really sheer so you will need multiple coats. Surprising Product
I have many of these nail lacquers. I must say that I love their color selection and their new shades are often similar to other higher end collections (I'm looking at you summer 2011). However, their formula is very inconsistent. I suppose this is to be expected from a $1.99 nail lacquer. Half of those in my collection wear very well and are super pigmented. The other half are watery, streaky, an...read mored chip easily. If you are looking for something cheap and fun, this is one of the best brands out there. Bright colors at a great price!
This is one of my favorite budget-friendly polishes. I can go 4 weeks on my toes (adding a clear coat once per week to sustain color and prevent chips) and the typical 7 days on my fingers (with an extra clear coat to refresh the manicure about halfway through the week) and I type - a lot. Plus, I wear sandals and particularly flip flops at least 4 months out of the year and have had no issues with this product. Sinful Color
This is a line of polish that I was drawn to at Walgreens because they had a really nice selection of colors. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers in that some of the colors look really dark in the bottle and are so light when applied that you need 3-4 coats of polish for it to really show, which isn't worth it no matter how inexpensive the polish may be. Don't let that deter you from ...read morethis brand though, as the colors that wear well last 2-3 weeks as long as you have a good top coat over it. I've not experienced chipping at all with any of these polishes. However, I would recommend their metallic and solid colors above anything that visibly has glitter in it. Be aware that a shade like Mint Apple needs more tha two coats. Hit or Miss, But The Hits Are Amazing
Other reviewers are right on target when they say that the formula for Sinful Colors' nail polishes are a hit or a miss. I own several bottle of this, and the hits, such as a fire-engine red called GoGo Girl, performs better than some of my more expensive Essie, OPI, or China Glaze polishes! The color was opaque in ONE COAT, which rarely happens for me, because I am a total perfectionist when it c...read moreomes to consistent, thorough pigmentation and proper color intensity. Also, the formula's consistency was just perfect. Liquid-y enough to spread evenly over the nail in one coat, but not so liquid-y that it would run everywhere or take forever to dry. (Speaking of which, the drying time was only about five to seven minutes.) The finish, without a top coat, is already exceptionally shiny, and I have gotten up to 10 days of wear with Sinful Colors' nail polishes with minimal chipping, and my hands work hard 24/7. This is amazing for only $1.99 for a bottle the same size as an $8 OPI. The brush is also small, but it offers good control and doesn't streak the polish if it's handled right. However, it's impossible to tell whether the formula is a hit or miss with every color. For example, a slightly shimmery light blue shade called Cinderella, was a miss, and a pretty awful one at that. While the color was gorgeous, like a mix between periwinkle and light, cloudy blue, the formula was really, really runny, so it took about three coats to get it to look like what it looked like in the bottle (the brushes are exactly the same, by the way). And since I had to layer three coats, drying time was about ten to fifteen minutes. Also, the finish is not as shiny as I'd like it to be, but again, it was slightly shimmery, which I did not expect when I bought the polish, but shimmer tends to have that quality. Then, I wore this for about three days, and that's when the polish started peeling off. Not cool. Overall, I'd say just to buy a color if you see it and like it because for $1.99, these nail polishes are cheap and fun, so even if you don't get a hit with an absolutely amazing polish, you still have a new shade for special occasions, and you didn't lose much money. Great value
These are great for the price. They have a great selection of colors, so if you need a certain color for a special occasion this is the first place I would look. Suprisingly Great
I bought an orangy red for summer from this collection thinking I'd take a chance on a brand I've never tried before. I'm so pleased with this polish! It is quite the gem hidden in the bottom shelf of target's nail polishes. They have your standard colors along with some fun wildcard shades. I saw a vermillion color I'd like to try next. Pretty good
