NYX knows how to do shadow right. I would put them up against MAC colors and consider them the better value, considering the price. Take their "Trio Eye Shadow," for instance. Boooo

I found these eyeshadows to be of extremely low quality. They crumbled in the cheap-feeling, flimsy compact, and came with a totally worthless applicator. The colors were very dull. I would never buy these again.

great value

These cost about $8 for three top-quality high pigmented shadows. I like to use a wet brush to intensify the color and these work well. I have the cherry/pink/light blue trio and it's wonderful. You get a lot of bang for your buck with these. I would rethink some of the color combinations.

Great Value

I got the trio in Dune which is a nice, classic soft shimmer nude pallete that brightens your eyes. It is well pigmented and lasts without creasing. The shadow itself is high quality and pretty. The palette was inexpesive. The actual plastic case is cheap and hard to open. The applicators are rough and the shadow is not sealed in any way, so make sure you open it to check before you buy a used one.

Wonderful

The color selection is absolutely great. The three shades in the trio almost always work together. The quality is unbeatable for the price, rivals MAC. It's finely milled, silky smooth, and highly pigmented. Absolute must own.

beautiful neutrals

these neutral colors are incredibly pigmented and easily blendable. i would suggest using a wet brush or a primer to make the shadows more pigmented and no creasing.

WOW

NYX eyeshadows are comparable to MAC... The are velvety smooth, highly pigmented (a little goes a long way) and stay on!!! Plus, I think I only paid $9 for this palette. Super cheap! I won't be buying expensive eyeshadows anymore!

Amazing for the price

I have about 3 of these, and I really do love them. They've duped many high-end brand colors (for example, in the Nude/Taupe palette there's a dupe for Urban Decay's Bootycall, and Naked2) and they have such a nice feel. They're super buttery and go on smooth. They last a long time, and are pretty well pigmented, too. They lose a star for packaging though, as they come in a cheap looking plastic c...read moreompact that's hard to open if you don't have long fingernails. Another goes for the applicator. Most people don't use the foam tip applicator that comes with the eyeshadow, but if you do, you'll be extremely disappointed with it. I totally recommend these, though. The product that you get is amazing, the color selection is huge, and they're only 8 dollars!

My Classic

This eyeshadow trio was a gift (mine has the dark matte brown, a shimmery grey-taupe, and a light satiny-shimmery cream color), and when I saw that the package said "For Sexy Babe's Eyes Only," I had high expectations. I was not disappointed. This was my first real eyeshadow ever. I got it when I transitioned from kiddie sparkly makeup from Claire's to legitimately doing/loving doing makeup. You can get a lighter look with a sheer wash of color from 1 or 2 of the lighter shades, or get more drama just by placing the darker color in your crease, under your bottom lashes, or on the outside corner of your eye. This is my classic, trusty first palette and it is good quality for a low price.
