Cover Girl Outlast Lip Stain

When these came out I loved the idea of soft, stainy color that lasts all day. Ummm...these aren't it. The product does not go on evenly even when you're not wearing lip moisturizer, it's not buildable (as in, you can't correct uneven application or adjust the color), and although the CoverGirl website color advisor recommended the "Blossom" shade for my skintone, it's the most garish, cheap look...read moreing, overdone pink I've ever seen. What did go on my lips turned pink-orange after a few minutes, and it dried out my lips terribly. I rarely throw out a product I don't like, because I can almost always make it work somehow. This is one of the few that got chucked immediately. (theBalm's Staniac in "Beauty Queen" and Benefit's "Posie Tint" work much, much better for me.)This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Doesn't Last

I'm not sure if it was just mine, but the applicator on mine was dried out a bit and the application was splotchy and not a lot would come out at one time. Doesn't Live Up To The Name
I don't usually weat lipstick of any kind. I'm a clear lipgloss or Chapstick kinda girl. That is mostly because I hated having to reapply lip color ALL the time, so of course I wanted to try this believing it would last all day, not at all. I put it on at 8 am and it is completely gone, NO trace of color bu 10 am, maybe 11 am if I don't drink anything. good color, but strange results
i loved the color, the dark red that came out last year, but had weird experiences with it. the first application went on even and looked gorgeous. yes, i lick my lips too and it did taste odd. the next morning i needed a sandblaster to remove it. i still had red lines in my lips though. the next day i used it again and it was as if it had dried out already. i had to shake it and turn it in ...read moreall directions. it finally applied a very pale shade of red, kind of sheer. i was upset until i found nyx lip markers that same week. saved!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Better than lipstick
I have this in teasing blush and love it..... It is feather light, and I can use my lip balm over the top and it doesn't come off like other lipsticks!! I only had to reapply this once at a party! Love this stuff !This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
