Good idea, bad color selection
I appreciate a non-Sephora-caliber lipstain product being made available to the commoners such as myself, and I found this product to be a good idea and did what it was designed to do. THAT BEING SAID, I was annoyed at the color availability- the colors of the packages were misleading and not exactly true as shown (I cannot open the package and try it on in the store), and the color CHOICES are no...read moret that many. The closest i found to be flattering to my personal coloring was "420" . i have similar coloring as Drew Barrymore, the spokesmodel for CoverGirl and when I bought the product SHE was modeling (Everbloom Kiss -which looked good for her in the ad) I turned out looking like a fake, KOOL-AID swilling tarlet. Very frustrating after paying like 8 bucks. (yes I know some drug stores have returns policies) . anyway, good idea for the product. Very versatile
I heart these! The color is sheer but supremely buildable and works great alone or under a clear or colored gloss which allows you to really play up a lot of looks. They aso contain a moisturizing agent (glycerin?) so they're not as drying as other stains. Stained its way into my heart!
I am forever trying to find the perfect cosmetics to make me feel beautiful and confident. I find lots of wonderful products but the trouble comes from how long the product stays on. CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain is perfect!!!! It literally stays on all day. This lipstain has become my all time favorite CoverGirl product. Seriously, I wont be caught with out it. The price is unbelievable for the quality of the product, but then again CoverGirl seems to always strive to keep quality on the shelves for a great price. Amazing, but it should last longer~
I love the idea of this lip stain! I bought mine in Flirty Nude and it's absolutely perfect. My lips are naturally kind of red already, but this one makes flush very nice. Good but not GREAT!

not as great as it could have been
Definitely caught my eye. The marketing and the product's promises. The color selection was lovely as well. Just about a perfect color for every skin tone. Yet.. here comes the part where it all just goes down hill from there.. I bought one... berry blossum I think that's what it's called. Tried it out.. it literally dried out after the first..well ill give it more credit after about 2 uses (...read morebarely that even) It completely dried out. I thought that couldn't be possible something brand new not working like that.. SO i thought it was defective went back and bought another one.......... The same thing happened. Im going to have to put this product on my BIG FAT X LIST ie within the trash! Gerat stain
Loved this for its staying power: one application and I was good for the day. The color was great too-and there are so many to choose from. It did dry out my lips a little, which I'm guessing is the long wear part of it, but nothing a little lip balm couldn't fix. Can't get much color from applicator and dries out!
I was excited to try this product, but like other reviewers, I can only get product to come out of the tip to color one lip and then the marker is dry until the next day.
