Not a fan
I love the idea of lipstains — low maintenance color, so I can put on balm or gloss (without looking) and still be "put together." But these lipstains failed on every level. I tried 400 Everbloom Kiss and 415 Teasing Blush; the two shades looked nearly identical (and rather bright) on my lips. The pigment wasn't particularly long-lasting, and as they wore off, they wore off unevenly (even with pre-application exfoliation), which from a distance, made my lips look like they were bleeding. I also tried two different wear tests. I allowed the marker to set completely, then (1) I ate something (they came off), and (2) I applied chapstick on top of the stain (pigment came off on the chapstick). More effective stains (for me) have been MAC's Not So Shy! and the four stains from Beaute Cosmetics (Harlot, Fever, Neon, and Fluoron). A little disappionting
When I found this product I was looking for a coral shade to compliment my blue eyes and fair skin. I hadn't realized I'd bought a lip stain at first. The first times I used this product I loved it, however if I made a mistake, tough luck. It's very hard to get off and it will often stain more in some areas on the lips. Doesn't outlast

This did stain, but was dried up like an old marker after only 3 uses. It doesn't gloss like it did on Drew Barrymore. I thought it was very dry and you need a gloss over to get it to look nice. Dried up like a cheap marker

Outlast lasts through meals for me
I personally LOVE this lips stain; for me the color lasts through meals and everything. I generally exfoliate my lips once a week and find this makes the color last on my lips. Did not like this at all
This is going back to the store. It does not stain, even with waiting for it to dry. It washes off when I lick my lips giving me a "just drank cherry juice" mess on my teeth. The "magic" market thing should have a reload feature (like pressing down the marker tip) to put more liquid into the felt. It was inconsistent with color application. For teens and 20-something's ONLY!
I didn't even realize I HAD lipstick lines until I tried CoverGirl Outlast Lip Stain. I've used glosses, lipsticks, plumpers, and never had a problem! Fortunately, it doesn't live up to its claims, and you can wipe it right off. So for quality, length of wear, and value, I'll stick with CoverGirl Outlast Double Lipshine ... it may get a little dry by the end of the day, but it doesn't go up into lip lines, and it stays on through almost anything. My first experience with a lip stain
I was intrigued with the idea of a lip stain, i decided to try this one first because of the price ( around $7). I bought two in the colors 435 (pink-ish orange), and 415 (berry pink). Excellent on-the-go product
