    YES!!!

Definitely worth the 8 or 9 dollars at the drugstore or target. Long-lasting and a great selection is a plus. I have so many shades that I've lost count! I find myself buying colors I already have (in other brands) just because I want Essie!

    WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!

I love, love, LOVE Essie nail polish in Sole Mate. It Is a very dark maroon/burgandy color. ( Think Chanel Vamp). It lasts a long time for me, even on weekends, when I am usually cleaning like a crazy woman! It is a bit lighter than Vamp, so it does work better for my super-fair skin. Love this stuff!

    Awesome Polishes

Even though the price tag is a little steep for a polish, you certainly get what you pay for with the Essie polish line. The colors apply very easily, and are typically opaque in just two coats. They last a little longer than the drug store store stuff, and definitely don't chip as quickly. I also noticed their glitters remove a little easier, and I have yet to have an Essie color stain my nail bed! Overall, I'd definitely recommend these polishes to everyone!

    Love It!

I love this nail polish. The bottles are pretty small, but the colours are great. I brought the summer collection and the colours are really nice. It went a bit sticky after a while but it didn't chip and stayed on for ages.

    Great Lasting Power, But...

I personally love the color selection for the Essie Nail Polishes. I have in Turquoise and I adore the color. Pros: Great shine, lasts me over two weeks without chips, great color selection, easy to spread over nail, dries quickly but not so quickly that you won't get the job done on time for each nail. Cons: Tends to create streaks (the thickness of it compares to Sinful Colors which cost like $...read more2), I have to apply at least 3 coats to get an even color throughout the whole nail bed. Overall, good product. But for the consistency of the liquid and how many coats I have to apply, it could be cheaper.

    Not Worth the Hype

I truly don't understand the hype behind this product. After reading the reviews and seeing an ad for Essie's colors in nearly every one of my magazines, I succombed to the marketing powers that be, and shelled out the $8 (which I don't mind spending on OPI) for my first bottle of Essie. I was sooooo disappointed. The color was cute and pigmented in the bottle, but went on my nails like a cheap li...read morettle girl's nail polish. The formula was thin and runny, and I had to put three coats of color on before I deemed it close to what was actually inside the bottle. I hated it--BUT I thought maybe I had purchased a bad bottle. It couldn't be the formula--especially after everyone's rave reviews, right? WRONG. My second bottle was just as bad as the first. And yes, I shook the blasted bottle and did everything I do with my OPI and drugstore brands, but I have to say that Essie didn't live up to its hype at all. I prefer Sally Hansen over Essie any day.

    My Favorite

I LOVE LOVE LOVE essie nail polish. I do my nails by myself all the time. EVerytime i go into a store that supplies this nail polish i always have t purchase atleast one. Im always up to date on the newest colors. This nail polish has beautiful colors. The brush is thin which makes it easier to manuver for beginners and small fingers, unlike the OPI brush which took me atleast a little to get use to. Certain colors apply differently but overall the nail polish is worth it.
