Texturizer with shine!
This is not a product that I typically use with straight, long hair. But I got a new hair cut a few weeks ago with some longer layers framing my face... yet, I did not know how to keep them out of my eyes or sleeked back when I was wearing a simple pony tail... here enters Sebastian Professional Microweb Fiber. I was able to keep those long layers out of my face quite well with this product, but what I noticed, and this makes the product great, is that the shine in my hair was amplified where I used it! Makes growing out bangs less painful!
I really love this stuff! I've been growing out my bangs and they hit right below my eyes. They were a total nightmare to deal with...up until now! This product gives great control and yet is soft enough so that my bangs aren't transformed into hard, crisp daggers that poke into my eyes. I can finally create a nice wispy, "piecey" look by using just a few dabs of this on the bangs and layers around my face. Keeps hair fun!
This product is not one that I would typically buy because I've got long straight hair. However, for short stylish cuts, this product would be great. It has a great smell and keeps hair in place without making it stiff or tacky. I use it on my ponytails to give them a little poof after the ponytail holder. Not bad
I'm usually not a user of putties or texturizers because I've always thought they worked better on shorter styles. I have shoulder length thick hair and most such products simply made my hair look chunky and greasy. This one however, although it's tacky like glue, is better. Not for me
It's a really good product in that it holds hair in place well. The scent isn't strong and the feel of the product is light. I didn't feel like my hair was heavy or gunky, however the product didn't work well with my hair and for my taste. I need heat to style my hair and primarily wear my hair straight and I didn't like the look it gave me when I flat ironed it. peace to pieces
If you like piecey, textured hair, with out added weight and stikiness......this is for you. I totally loved it, found it easy to work with on my long, thick, wavy hair. Who knew? What Weird and Wonderful Stuff!
Okay, at first I was quite intimidated by this product. Fibers? Microweb? What's it going to do to my hair? Well, the answer to that is...Anything I want! This stuff is so workable and easy to use. You can get just about any style you want. Just move it around in your hair and it's set. A little goes a long way too so this jar will last a good long time. Try it! It's fun! Like it, but not love it.
I'm not quite sure how to use this product, but I'll do my best. First off, it is very sticky (almost to the point of me not wanting to use it). It has a really pleasant smell, and the packaging is small and sleek (you wouldn't think theres much in that bottle, but a little goes a long way). It says you can use it to scrunch, so I just scrunch it into my hair. It gives me a little bit of texture which is good. Overall, this product is nice. A little goes a long way!
My hair is past my shoulders and in layers so I wasn't sure how I would use this at first. I decided to apply this by layers and it turned out great. Interesting
This was interesting. I haven't ever used a texturizer before so I wasn't sure what to expect from it. As a result of never having used a texturizer, the lack of instructions was disappointing to me. I wish it was more clear whether to use on damp or dry hair, how much to use, etc... Because the instructions said it "revives curls" I used it in the same way I have used products that ...read moremade similar claims. By the way, it wasn't more effective than any other product I've used that made similar claims. It was different in that it had a really unusual texture. It was really sticky! I wasn't prepared for that. It did, at first, bring my curls back to life after the end of the day. However, I noticed by the time I got to dinner they had fallen flat once gain.
