not thick but not great
This sunscreen doesn't have much of a smell. It goes on quite easily even though it's a bit on the thicker side. The only problem I had with it was the white residue marks it left on my arms when I applied it. Love This Sunblocker!
I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, Lupus, Crest Syndrome etc. I have a terrible time with the sun. This Ultra Sheer SPF 70 is amazing. I can go fishing with my husband, garden etc. and I do not break out or even get red. It stays on and has never let me down. Well worth the cost. Non-burning
Usually when I wear a moisturizer with SPF in it, my face feels like it's on fire for the whole day. The feeling would go away periodically and then come back with a vengeance. So I tend to avoid wearing it but when I go to the beach I absolutely need it. It took me a while to find that Neutrogena actually works for me. There is no burning and I know that my skin is being protected. One of My HG Products
For me this is pure gold. When I use it, it works, period. I once put it on, went outside to host my yard sale, and then discovered at 3 pm exactly where I had missed applying it!! I got turned on to this when I tried a competitor's $30 matte sunscreen and discovered that this worked as well for far less. Dermatologist recommended
I recently went to see my dermatologist trying to figure out which sunblock would be best for me...She recommended Neutragena UltraSheer 55 or 70..It is light weight and really protects my skin..I have a dark birthmark that runs over my right shoulder and I always worry about it getting darker in the sun, but this sunblock really works and protects my skin from sun damage..Also it is not at all pricy and really makes me feel safe in the sun.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

favorite sunscreen!

Fantastic Product
There are few skin care products on the market that I swear by, but Neutrogena's Dry-Touch sunblock is one of them. I have very sensitive, sunburn-prone skin and use prescription topical products to control rosacea. I use either the 15 or 30 spf. My skin stays clear and protected, I feel as though I have nothing on my face and I use this day and night as a moisturizer. Works very well under the small amount amount of make-up I wear. I have used this product for the past 2 years, experimenting w/ different SPF levels and it seems to work pretty well. It doesn't have that strong "sunblock" smell and doesn't leave you looking like a shiny piece of plastic. I have used Neutrogena sheer sunblock for years
It is the tirst thing I apply to my face before putting on makeup. I love how it dries making a smooth base for applying makeup. I am 70 years old and have been told I do not look my age. If I am going to be outside doing yard work, I make sure to apply it on any skin that is going to be exposed to the sun.
